  • Publication number: 20240108490
Abstract: An ankle/foot orthosis with a foot part, which has a sole for receiving a foot, and with a shin part which, when fitted in place, bears on the frontal aspect of a shin and is connected to the foot part via a medially extending spring, wherein the spring, behind an ankle area, forms a hinge area that allows a movement of the shin part relative to the foot part in the anterior-posterior direction.

  • Publication number: 20100251848
Abstract: A brake booster for a motor vehicle brake system of the “brake-by-wire” type, which can be activated, on the one hand, by a brake pedal and, on the other hand, as a function of a driver's request, as well as independently of the driver's will by an electronic control unit, wherein the coupling of the brake pedal to an input element of the brake booster is embodied by a piston rod head provided with longitudinal guide openings, in such a way that a limited relative movement of the brake pedal is possible with respect to the input element, as a result of which, in particular in the “brake-by-wire” operating mode, decoupling of the force-transmitting connection between the brake pedal and the input element is ensured. The piston rod head is embodied as a U-shaped bent part which engages around the brake pedal.

  • Patent number: 7770491
Abstract: It is known in the art to apply a counterforce, which opposes the actuating force, onto an accelerator pedal of a vehicle in the event that the vehicle, with respect to a vehicle parameter, sufficiently deviates from the nominal value. The parameter can be the speed or the measured distance from vehicles driving ahead. The invention discloses a series of embodiments that satisfy especially easily and reliably the defined requirements for applying the counterforce to the pedal.
