    Abstract: A device for removing moisture from a continuously advancing textile web by suction. A suction slit which reaches crosswise across the textile web is provided, which is delimited on one side by a slide surface, on the other side by a roll. On the side facing the roll, the slide crosspiece has a concave recess, into which the roll partly fits. At its edge, facing the roll, the slide crosspiece forms a tongue-like projection, which extends over the top of the roll, almost to the vertex of the roll.

The web may thus be wound onto the spool with a relatively low moisture content.

Disposed in this vertical plane (40) is a squeezer unit (37) from which the strip of fabric can pass, against each feed roll (5), through a treatment bath (30) and then over an array (20) of guide rollers disposed above an open tank (26). The continuous strip of fabric (10) can be wound back and forth between the feed rolls (5), thus making it possible to carry out a variety of different treatments.

    Abstract: A treatment device (100) for a textile web (1) comprises a drum (20), rotatable in a container (2) with a treatment liquid (4), around which the web (1) is wrapped. The ends of the drum (20) are supported on bearing plates (10) arranged near the fronts of the container (2). The bearing plates (10) are supported at the upper end on an eccentric (6), opposite the lower end of which there is a torque support (9). As the eccentric rotates, the bearing plates (10) with the drum (20) and the web (1) wrapped around it are caused to oscillate in the treatment liquid (4).

    Abstract: A widening device for increasing the width of a moving web of material comprises a rotatable profiled roller, the outer surface of which defines a plurality of radial projections and recesses distributed along the length of the roller and first and second co-operating rollers rotatable at the same speed as the profiled roller. The first and second co-operating rollers define projections and recesses complementary to those of profiled roller and define first and second treatment nips which serve to increase the width of a web of material passed therethrough. The projections on the co-operating roller defining the second treatment nip extend more deeply into the recesses of the profiled roller than do the projections on the co-operating roller which defines the first treatment nip so that the web of material is stretched gradually over two stages with the stretching effect being uniform across the entire width of the web.

A flow homogenizing baffle is provided on the run-off surface. The baffle is formed from closely spaced deflection elements that even out any irregularities that exist in the fluid film flowing over the upper portion of the run-off surface.

    Abstract: Apparatus for treating textile webs in a treatment fluid such that the material lingers in the treatment fluid for a period of time, in which a support bottom in the form of a trough extending transverse to the textile web and a swinging or oscillating member, having the same curvature as the trough, freely suspended at an eccentric and rotated about an axis parallel to the trough with the direction of the rotation the same as that of the travel direction of the textile web through the trough, form a channel at the beginning of which the textile web is placed in transversal folds and at the end of which the web is drawn off, all of the channel being situated below the fluid level thereby resulting in an improved rinsing action as the web is moved through the channel with the oscillating member aiding in both the rinsing action and in moving the web of material through the channel.
