  • Publication number: 20080293609
Abstract: A method to obtain particles which can absorb large quantities of perfume. The resulting particles are mechanically stable, flow freely, and have no tendency to stick together even when being charged with a great quantity of perfume. The perfume can be stabilized in the particles in such a way that the contained fragrances essentially do not decompose. Also disclosed are the aftertreatment of such particles as well as a detergent composition containing the inventive particles.

  • Patent number: 7446086
Abstract: A detergent, cleaning, conditioning or cosmetic agent that is absorbed by the surface of substrates and that contains oligomers, polymers or copolymers comprising a specific structural element. The agent may also form part of a conditioning substrate, wherein the substrate, such as a fleece material, is saturated and/or coated with the agent. The agent may also be used in a process for treating hard and/or soft substrate surfaces comprising the step of applying an effective quantity of the agent to the substrate.

  • Publication number: 20080207476
Abstract: A particle containing a carbonate, a sulfate, a perfume, and a layered silicate, the particle having a weight ratio of layered silicate to carbonate and sulfate combined of ?1:2. The particles, having a desirable fragrance profile, are useful in detergents, fabric softeners, and textile treatments.

  • Patent number: 6562769
Abstract: The invention relates to a method for producing aromatic shaped bodies, especially aromatic beads, with bulk densities greater than 700 g/l, whereby a solid and essentially water-free premix comprised of a) 65 to 95 wt. % carrier(s), b) 0 to 10 wt. % auxiliary agent(s), and c) 5 to 25 wt. % perfume is subjected to granulation or compacted agglomeration. In addition, the invention relates to the application of the inventive aromatic shaped bodies in order to scent washing and cleaning detergents, to washing and cleaning detergents containing shaped bodies which are produced according to the invention, and to a method for scenting textiles in a wash machine.

  • Patent number: 6228833
Abstract: Scent intensifying washing and cleaning detergents or components for these detergents are manufactured in which a solid and essentially water-free premix is produced, said premis being comprised of washing and cleaning detergent compounds and/or washing and cleaning detergent materials. The premix contains at least 0.1 wt. % perfume referring to the premix and is subjected to granulation or compacted agglomeration. By virtue of the water-free method, subsequent drying steps do not apply in which the prefume is entirely or partially vaporized. The homogenous incorporation of the prefume leads to a substantially increased fragrance of both the product as well as the articles which are dampened or dried, especially textiles.
