  • Publication number: 20160159334
Abstract: A hand brake valve (1) for braking systems of pneumatically braked motor vehicles includes a rocking lever (2) pivotably guided in a lever housing (4) and connected to a control element (9, 10) for actuating the hand brake valve mechanism (7), the rocking lever bears a shift handle (3) and is configured to be pivoted into different operating positions guided in a shift gate (13), wherein the rocking lever comprises a locking element (12) that cooperates with the shift gate and that slides along a curved sliding path (15) of the shift gate, wherein a locking groove (16) is radially formed in the curved sliding path (15), the locking element being snapped into said locking groove in the locked position, and wherein the hand brake valve comprises an electrical switching element (22) configured to be actuated exclusively in the locked position.

  • Patent number: 6310283
Abstract: A pressure relief system comprises a control system which includes a housing with a housing chamber in which electrical equipment is located, and a valve system having a pressure relief device. The housing chamber is connected via a connecting device (e.g., a pipe conduit) to the pressure relief device, thereby protecting the electrical equipment contained in the housing chamber from occurrence of overpressure.

  • Patent number: 6203115
Abstract: A control system for a vehicle braking systems includes an electronic control system and a brake signal transmitter having at least one circuit actuatable by a driver of the vehicle. Each circuit of the brake signal transmitter transmits an electrical brake signal having a value which is dependent upon an actuating force and/or an actuating stroke supplied to the brake signal transmitter. The electronic control system emits at least one electrical brake actuating signal which is dependent upon the electrical brake signal transmitted by the brake signal transmitter. An electronics block which includes at least a portion of the electronic control system is provided. The brake signal transmitter and the electronics block are integrated into a combined component.

  • Patent number: 5039069
Abstract: A dual electromagnetically actuated valve device for controlling the connection between a fluid pressure source and a consumer facility, and for controlling the pressure relief function for the consumer facility, and for providing a highly sensitive adjustment of the consumer pressure. The device operates with a high flow rate when the pressure difference between inlet pressure and consumer pressure is great, but prevents an overshoot or undershoot of the consumer pressure. The subject invention makes it possible to provide a sensitive adjustment of the consumer pressure in any normal consumer pressure range. The invention controls the cross-sectional opening of a pilot control valve to be continuously adjustable by employing a first electromagnetic control valve which is responsive to a declining current dependent stroke characteristic, and a second electromagnetic control valve which is responsive to a rising current dependent stroke characteristic.

  • Patent number: 4665362
Abstract: The invention relates to an analog non-contact distance sensor which includes a fixed stationary annular magnetized armature. The stationary armature member is provided with an air gap into which is disposed an element which is sensitive to a magnetic field. The moving portion is a rod-shaped magnetic core member which can be inserted into the annular armature member. Depending on the depth of insertion of the core member, the amount of diversion of the magnetic field from the air gap of the armature is controlled. Consequently, the magnetic sensing element emits an electrical signal which corresponds to the distance travelled by the movable core member.

  • Patent number: 4617961
Abstract: A pilot-controlled solenoid valve apparatus includes a valve housing having an entrance chamber, an exit chamber, and a discharge chamber formed therein. An inlet valve controls fluid pressure flow from the entrance chamber to the exit chamber while an outlet valve controls fluid pressure flow from an exit chamber to the discharge chamber which exhausts to atmosphere. The inlet and outlet valves each include respective membrane diaphragms which have control chambers disposed on one side; which control chambers are pressurized by means of respective inlet and outlet control valves. Disposed on each of the membrane diaphragms are annular symmetric bodies which each have a longitudinal bore formed therein to allow communication between the respective control chambers and the exit and discharge chambers when the respective control valves are opened. An inlet and an outlet solenoid valve arrangement controls operation of the respective inlet and outlet control valves.

  • Patent number: 4188417
Abstract: A method of applying a dielectric layer to a substrate, comprises applying a metallic suspension, for example, a layer of so-called "conducting silver" which is a suspension of silver particles in an organic binder or solvent to the substrate surface in an area which is not to receive the dielectric layer so as to form a mask. The organic binder or solvent is advantageously decomposed by heating so as to leave the metallic deposit mask. Thereafter, a layer of dielectric material is applied over the substrate in the areas which are not covered by the mask and, subsequently, the mask is removed, such as by dissolving it. A mask-forming coating for the application of the dielectric layers on the substrate comprises a metallic suspension which may be in the form of a lacquer-type liquid or paste which contain noble metals, for example, in the form of tinsels as the conducting constituent and also include organic binders or solvents of various kinds.
