  • Publication number: 20060054250
Abstract: The object of the invention is to create high-tensile molded bodies that are made of titanium alloys and are malleable at room temperature and that, compared with the metallic glasses, have macroscopic plasticity and work hardening, without other properties, such as breaking resistance, elastic elongation or corrosion behavior being thus greatly impaired.
    Type: Application
    Filed: November 24, 2004
    Publication date: March 16, 2006
    Applicant: LEIBNIZ-INSTITUT FUER FESTKOEPER-UND WERKSTOFFFORSCHUNG E.V.
Inventors: Guo He, Wolfgang Loeser, Juergen Eckert, Uta Kuehn
  • Patent number: 6783279
Abstract: A window-type cage for an angular contact ball bearing. Lubricant pockets are provided in the spherical pocket surfaces which are provided for guiding the balls. These lubricant pockets are all arranged in regions which lie outside the bearing points between the ball and the cage in both the circumferential direction and the axial direction, such that the wall thickness of the cage at the bearing points is not reduced by the position and design of the lubricant pockets.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: July 15, 2002
Date of Patent: August 31, 2004
    Assignee: FAG Kugelfischer AG
    Inventors: Bernhard Wilm, Wolfgang Loeser
