Abstract: A rotary press comprising at least one pressing station having each of a vertically-adjustable upper and lower pressure roller, which are mounted by axes in the at least one pressing station. Cam-guided upper punches having punch heads are fed to the upper pressure roller by a control cam and a pull-up cam raises the upper punches to a highest point above a filling device. A vertically-adjustable safety cam is designed to be vertically adjustable in relation to the upper pressure roller. The rotary press may comprise a preliminary pressure cam, which is integrated in a guide block.

Abstract: A device for simultaneous three-sided trimming of products in a plurality of cutting stations includes a common upper knife carrier operable in a vertical motion, blades to be attached to the upper knife carrier for at least front edge trimming and top and bottom trimming of the products and a first drive for driving the upper knife carrier. A conveyor system has top-related and bottom-related pairs of conveyor belts for conveying the products through the cutting stations of the device and a second drive driving the conveyor system. The first and second drives are self-contained, mutually independent drives connected to one another by control units. The top-related and bottom-related pairs of conveyor belts of the conveyor system are each driven by self-contained, mutually independent, position-controlled drives.

Abstract: A device for three-sided trimming of products has a cutter lifting assembly that is operable in a lifting movement that determines a machine cycle of the device. Several cutters, at least for head trimming, foot trimming, and front edge trimming of the products, are mountable on the cutter lifting assembly. The device has a lateral alignment configuration, which is movable at least on one side, for performing a pushing movement against the product, by way of which the product can be brought into a cutting position. The device further includes a device for initiating and/or terminating the pushing movement of the alignment configuration in such a way that the time of initiation and/or the pushing duration of the pushing movement within the cycle duration of the device is independent of the lifting movement of the cutter lifting assembly.

Abstract: A trimmer for trimming brochures has lower blade holders and upper blade holders for top cutting blades and bottom cutting blades lying opposite them. The trimmer further has a guide rail configuration and tensioners by which the lower blade holders can be locked on the guide rail configuration. Accordingly, the tensioners can be actuated from one and the same side of the trimmer. This has an advantageous effect on the time required for changing over the trimmer from one brochure format to another.

Abstract: An apparatus for the simultaneous three-sided trimming of products includes first and second cutting stations and a third processing station in which perforating or shaping punching operations can be carried out on the product at the same time as edge trimming in the preceding stations. Abstract: Method and device of utilizing, through heat exchanger or heat pump provided in addition to a normal cooling system, heat due to energy loss in a coil device, such as a transformer or a choke coil having a liquid-cooled interior, which includes throttling the normal cooling system so as to set a difference between the temperature of the interior liquid coolant, at a location under a casing cover of the coil device, and a maximum permissible temperature for a normal useful life of insulation for the coil winding so that the temperature of the inner coolant is lower when the coil device is under full load than when it is under partial load.
