  • Patent number: 11964913
Abstract: Insulation panel made from an insulation panel precursor comprising at least one modified layered silicate.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: November 28, 2018
Date of Patent: April 23, 2024

  • Patent number: 7059737
Abstract: A floating light (1), having a base (2) which accommodates a light source or luminescing means; and a screen (3) which is connected thereto and which surrounds the light source. The screen has an inlet opening (4) for connection with the base (2) and an otherwise closed, preferably substantially spherical surface. The light has a seal in the contact area (6) between the screen and the base (2), preferably a sealing element or sealing ring (5), so that in the operational position, the sealed contact area (6) can be located beneath the surface (7) of a liquid in which the floating light is to float.

  • Publication number: 20060042189
Abstract: The invention relates to a device and a method for separating film layers (8), which consist of different materials and are joined together in an air-thigh manner by adhesion, a material bond or similar forms of bonding, in a simple manner. In this case, separation means that only one respective layer (18) is pierced and raised by rotation by means of a screw-type thread (16), allowing a gaseous medium, (e.g. air) or liquid medium, (e.g. water) to be introduced into the gap that has been created between said layer and the second film layer (17). The method and the device are characterised in that they are simple and can be applied in any position on the film workpieces. No additional openings, distances, valves or similar in the films therefore need to be considered and no prior material treatment, (introduction of separation elements) is required in order to subsequently fill bags that are produced in this manner.

  • Publication number: 20010021424
Abstract: Flexible packaging for articles includes an inflatable hollow body in the form of a double-walled tubular formed body in which the article to be packaged is fixed after inflating the hollow body. The hollow body can be shaped as desired by folding and joining techniques to enable both transport packaging for geometrically simple or complexly shaped articles, and also a likewise flexible and effective protective covering of individual hazardous articles.

  • Patent number: 6224241
Abstract: A lighting device has a light holder positionable on a mounting support, the light holder also having an outer light holder edge. The light holder includes a centrally located light holder top that projects from the mounting support for fastening a light source. A light protector is detachably fastened on the light holder. The light protector covers the light source and any holder regions projecting from the mounting support in such a way that essentially only the light protector is visible. The light protector has a protector collar, which encircles the outer holder edge and limits a protector opening that is pointed toward the inside space defined by the light protector.

  • Patent number: 4657154
Abstract: In containers having latchable covers for closing the container vessel, the overs are rigidly connected to the vessel opening and this condition can be disadvantageous under various load conditions. To attain a flexible yet secure closure, the cover is provided with an annular groove formed in the peripheral edge thereof. The cover is thereby capable of yielding under stress. For tensioning the cover, a device can be fixed in a recess formed in the inner wall surface of the vessel. Upright supports project out from a plate and are in contact engagement with an end face of the cover remote from a shoulder formed in the inside wall surface of the vessel opening. A tensioning unit is subjected to pressure and then presses the cover together in the region of the annular groove. After the latches are inserted into a recess, the tensioning unit is relieved of stress. The latches are then wedged in by the resilient action of the cover to produce a simple and reliable connection.
