  • Patent number: 9798127
Abstract: The invention relates to a tube for a surgical microscope. The tube has a base part, an intermediate part, which is pivotable about a rotational axis on the base part, and an ocular part which is pivotable about a rotational axis on the intermediate part. The imaging beam path is guided through the base part, the intermediate part and the pivotable ocular part. The tube has a tube lens system which transfers a parallel imaging beam paths into an intermediate image. The parallel imaging beam path enters via an opening in a connecting piece of the base part. The tube has a first displaceable mirror element which can be moved about the rotational axis on the base part. The tube lens system is a telesystem which has a lens unit having positive refractive power and a lens unit having negative refractive power.

The tube has a first mirror movable about the rotational axis on the base part and a further mirror movable on the intermediate part about the rotational axis. The first mirror directs the imaging beam path to the further mirror. The first mirror and further mirror are mounted in the imaging beam path between a lens unit having positive refractive power and a lens unit having negative refractive power.

  • Patent number: 7922402
Abstract: A camera holder (3) is provided for fixing a camera (11) or a camcorder to an optical observation device. The holder (3) has a variable-length sleeve (13) with a first end configured to receive the camera objective and a second end configured to secure the sleeve (13) relative to the optical observation device. The holder (3) also has an adjusting device (19) fixed to the sleeve (13). The adjusting device (19) has a pin for connection with a stand mating thread of a camera (11) and is configured to compensate for an offset between the stand mating thread and the camera objective. The adjusting device (19) enables the camera (11) to be positioned with respect to the sleeve and the optical observation device.

  • Patent number: 6781774
Abstract: The invention relates to a tube for an optical instrument, such as a microscope, having several rotary joints (19, 20, 21) connected serially one behind the other. Each of the rotary joints (19, 20, 21) includes a brake (32, 33, 38) via which the rotary joints are secured against an unintended rotation. The brakes of the rotary joints (19, 20, 21), which are connected serially one behind the other, are simultaneously releasable by actuation of the single operator lever (39). For this purpose, a system of pins (42) and tilt levers (43) is mounted in the tube via which the actuation of the operator element (39) is transmitted to the brakes (32, 33, 38) connected serially one behind the other.
