  • Publication number: 20090110547
Abstract: A method for producing a contoured gap between a rotor and a stator of a turbo-engine is provided. A first turbo-engine drives a second turbo-engine by means of a common shaft, the shaft being mounted in a bearing housing by means of a bearing. The aim of the invention is to enable the contoured gap to be created in a simple and reliable manner. To this end, the contoured gap is formed between a contoured surface of the rotor and a contoured surface of an engine housing associated with the rotor, by grinding the contoured surfaces against each other, using the axial play of the bearing.

  • Patent number: 4981489
Abstract: Disazo compounds based on 4,4'-diaminodiphenyl compounds contain not less than 50% by weight of a disazo compound of the general formulaA--N.dbd.N--Z--N.dbd.N--B (I)where Z is a radical of an unsubstituted or symmetrically substituted diphenylene, A is a radical of a coupling component of a 1-phenylpyrazolone or of an acetoacetarylide, where the phenyl and the aryl radical is subtsituted by sulfo or carboxyl groups, and B is a radical of a coupling component based on 1-phenylpyrazolone or acetoacetarylide, which are free of sulfo and/or carboxyl groups. The disazo compounds can be obtained by coupling the tetrazotized diamine H.sub.2 N--Z--NH.sub.2 to the coupling component AH containing an acidic group in a medium containing a mineral acid, and then coupling the product to BH in a buffered medium (pH about 4).The novel disazo compounds are suitable as additives to pigments, in particular azo and disazo pigments, for improving the transparency and heat stability of the pigment particles, and the flow behavior.

  • Patent number: 4720304
Abstract: Novel formulations which contain (a) one or more azo pigments based on coupling products of aromatic monoamines or 4,4'-diaminodiphenyls with acetoacetarylides, 1-arylpyrazolones, 3-hydroxy-2-naphthoic acid derivatives or .beta.-naphthol and (b) one or more dyes of the formulaQ--(X).sub.nwhere F is an n-valent radical of a monoazo dye, of a disazo dye or of a quinophthalone, n is 1, 2, 3 or 4 and X is a group of the formula ##STR1## where R.sup.1 and R.sup.2 are each hydrogen or C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 -alkyl, R.sup.3 is C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 -alkyl or hydroxy-C.sub.2 -C.sub.4 -alkyl and A.sup..crclbar. is one equivalent of an anion. The pigments present in the formulations exhibit improved tinctorial, rheological and printing properties when the formulations are used in printing inks.

  • Patent number: 4602960
Abstract: A novel modified diarylide pigment contains (a) a pigment which is composed of a tetrazotized benzidine, coupled to an acetoacetarylide and/or a 1-phenyl-3-methylpyrazole-5-one, and (b) a water-soluble component obtained from a symmetric or asymmetric coupling product of a tetrazotized 4,4'-diamino-2,2'-stilbenedisulfonic acid and an acetoacetarylide and/or a 1-phenyl-3-methyl-5-pyrazolone. The novel pigments possess very good color strength, very good gloss characteristics and very good transparency, and exhibit improved printing characteristics, particularly in offset printing inks.
