Abstract: Agent for controlling the peach twig borer, Anarsia lineatella, by the confusion technique containing a mixture of E5-decen-1-ol (I), E5-decen-1-yl acetate (II) and Z5-decen-1-ol (III) and Z5-decen-1-yl acetate (IV), the amount of the Z isomers (III) and (IV) being up to 50% by weight, based on the mixture (I) to (IV), and, if required, conventional additives and assistants.

Abstract: N-Benzoyl-N'-(2,3-dichloro-4-phenoxy)-phenylureas of the general formula I ##STR1## where R.sup.1 is halogen, R.sup.2 is hydrogen or halogen, R.sup.3 is halogen or C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 -haloalkoxy, and R.sup.4 is hydrogen or halogen, pesticides containing compounds I as active ingredients, and methods of combating pests.

Abstract: O,S-dialkyl S-[carbamyloxyalkyl] dithiophosphates of the general formula (I) ##STR1## where, independently of one another, R.sup.1 and R.sup.2 are each alkyl of not more than 4 carbon atoms and R.sup.3, R.sup.4 and R.sup.5 are each hydrogen or alkyl of not more than 6 carbon atoms, or R.sup.4 and R.sup.5, together with the nitrogen atom to which they are bonded, form a saturated or olefinically unsaturated ring which contains not more than 6 carbon atoms and may or may not contain one or more oxygen, sulfur or nitrogen atoms, are used for controlling insects or mites.

Abstract: Fluoroethoxyphenyl (di)thiophosphates of the formula ##STR1## where R.sup.1 is alkyl of 1 to 3 carbon atoms, R.sup.2 is alkyl of 1 to 5 carbon atoms, alkoxyalkyl or alkylthioalkyl, each of 2 to 8 carbon atoms, or cycloalkyl of 3 to 6 carbon atoms, R.sup.3, R.sup.4 and R.sup.5 independently of one another are each hydrogen, fluorine, chlorine, bromine or cyano, or alkyl of 1 to 4 carbon atoms which is unsubstituted or substituted by halogen, cyano, alkoxy or alkylthio, X is oxygen or sulfur, and Y is hydrogen, fluorine, chlorine or bromine, their preparation and their use as pesticides.

Abstract: 2-Trifluoromethylphenyl (di)thiophosphates of the formula ##STR1## where R.sup.1 is alkyl of 1 to 3 carbon atoms, R.sup.2 is alkyl of 1 to 5 carbon atoms, alkoxyalkyl or alkylthioalkyl of 2 to 8 carbon atoms or cycloalkyl of 3 to 6 carbon atoms, R.sup.3, R.sup.4 and R.sup.5 independently of one another are each hydrogen, cyano, halogen, alkoxy, alkylthio, each of 1 to 4 carbon atoms, or alkyl of 1 to 4 carbon atoms, which may be substituted by halogen or cyano, and X is oxygen or sulfur, are used for pest control.

Abstract: Difluoromethoxyphenyl thiophosphates of the formula I ##STR1## where R.sup.1 is alkyl of not more than 3 carbon atoms, R.sup.2 is unsubstituted or substituted alkyl of not more than 5 carbon atoms, Y is hydrogen or chlorine, X is oxygen or sulfur and R.sup.3, R.sup.4 and R.sup.5 are each hydrogen, halogen, nitrile, alkoxy or alkylthio, each of not more than 4 carbon atoms, or unsubstituted or substituted alkyl of not more than 4 carbon atoms, their preparation and their use as agents for controlling pests, in particular insects and other arthropods.
