Abstract: A computer-implemented method and an associated medical system for supporting a user of a medical technology apparatus in operation of the medical technology apparatus are provided. The method includes entering, by a user, at least one first message with an input/output unit of the medical technology apparatus. The method also includes transmitting the at least one entered first message via a communication network to a remote service center, and generating a ticket by the remote service center with reference to the at least one first message and a display on the medical technology apparatus.

Abstract: The present embodiments relate to starting a role-specific workflow in a medical-technical system. A user of the medical-technical system may be authenticated. A role may be assigned to the user. A replacement of a component of the medical-technical system may be identified using an electronic serial number stored in the component. The role-specific workflow may be started when the replacement of the component is identified. A service delivery may be more heavily standardized and optimized by automatically assigning the workflow. As a result, service results may improve and customer satisfaction may increase.

Abstract: A computer-implemented method and a computer system for determining a switch-on time of a medical-technical system following failure and repair of a part of the medical-technical system are provided. The computer system determines a supply time of a replacement part and determines a transportation period for the replacement part from a supply point of the replacement part through to the medical-technical system, taking into consideration a chosen transportation device and a traffic situation relevant to the transportation device. The computer system determines a repair duration for replacement and commissioning of the replacement part and calculates the switch-on time as a total of the supply time, the transportation period, and the repair duration.

Abstract: In a system and method to minimize downtimes of medical apparatuses one or more medical apparatuses each has at least: one detection module to detect error situations of the respective medical apparatus, one local database to provide data and information regarding error situations, associated error correction measures and additional information, one analysis module to analyze a present error situation with regard to measures for error correction and/or continued usability of the medical apparatus on the basis of the data stored in the local database, and one output module to output the results of the analysis. The apparatuses are connected with a central database in which data regarding known error situations of the medical apparatuses, associated error correction measures and additional information are provided. The local databases are updated on the basis of the central database.

Recommended actions to the user are provided and user selectable options related to the message are presented, wherein the user selectable options include: displaying further documentation or a link to further documentation to the user; displaying a statical overview related to the message; executing a test routine related to the message; and accepting feedback information from the user that is supplied to a remote location.
