  • Patent number: 8572929
Abstract: In the case of a window or door element (1) having a metal frame and an insulated glass pane (7) inserted into the frame (2), a solution is to be created, with which such window or door elements can be produced without requiring cold-forming, extrusion production of light-metal profiles, or another form of production of the frame elements. This is achieved in that the outer and/or inner surface of the frame (2) is formed, in each instance, by a flat metal frame (4, 5), wherein an insulation body (3) is positioned between the frame elements (4, 5), using sandwich construction.

  • Patent number: 7203133
Abstract: The invention relates to an ultrasound sensor system, especially for a welding electrode, comprising a sensor (5, 6, 7, 10) which, during the detection process, passes ultrasonic waves of a desired oscillation mode into areas to be detected and/or detects ultrasonic waves. At least one material recess (2) is provided in a sensor support (1), and at least one sensor (5, 6, 7, 10) is arranged in said recess.

  • Patent number: 5052231
Abstract: In a Coriolis mass flow gauge, the signal from each sensor is digitized and converted into digital measuring values by one or more analog/digital converters operating with a specific digital sampling frequency. Then, using a microcomputer, each digital measuring value thus obtained is multiplied, on the one hand, with the sine value of the phase angle at the point of sampling of the alternating signal or another scanning signal with the same frequency as the alternating voltage signal, but phase-shifted against that signal and, on the other hand, with the corresponding cosine value.

  • Patent number: 4825705
Abstract: A mass flow meter for flowing media with equipment for determining the coriolis force consists of a helicoidally bent measuring tube provided with two tube loops whose inflow and outflow ends are fastened to a massive cast block and between whose oppositely pivotable tube loops are arranged an oscillator and two sensors measuring the torsional oscillations. For a more compact stiffening and an improved clamping of the measuring tube at the cast block, the two tube loops are in each case ovally bent in one plane, extend approximately parallel to one another and are provided on one longitudinal side in each case with two tube sections lying opposite to one another in an alignment line (x.sub.1 --x.sub.1 or x.sub.2 --x.sub.2).

  • Patent number: 4562349
Abstract: Method and apparatus for scanning an object with a probe in which scanning lines for the forward and backward motions run parallel to each other and their mutual spacing from each other remains constant. In one form, the object transportation speed Vt is set relative to the speed Va of the forward and backward motions in such a way that Vt/Va=tangent .alpha.=constant where .alpha. is of the angle between the line of reciprocating movement and a normal to the transportation direction. According to another feature, the angle may be controlled by Vt such that parallelism of the scanning lines is maintained.

  • Patent number: 4447778
Abstract: Method and apparatus for magnetographic testing of magnetizable test pieces including pressing a magnetic storage tape upon the test piece, magnetizing the test piece thereof while the tape is being pressed against the test piece surface, removing the tape and scanning the tape by means of a probe which responds to magnetic forces to detect any stored defect stray fluxes.
