Abstract: A process for dyeing or printing cellulosic fibre material with reactive dyes, which comprises dyeing or printing said material with at least one reactive dye that contains a chlorotriazinyl radical, and washing off the dyeing or print so obtained with an aqueous solution to which at least 0.01 gram per liter of an alkaline earth metal salt has been added. Dyeings and prints of good fastness properties are obtained.

Abstract: There is disclosed a process for printing cellulosic textile material with reactive dyes which contain at least one monohalotriazine radical, which process comprises printing said material, without the addition of urea, in a single step and wetting the dried printed goods with water for the fixation step.The novel process gives level and deep prints of excellent appearance without the use of urea.

Abstract: There is disclosed a process for aftertreating cellulose and cellulosic materials printed with reactive dyes by treating said printed material with an aqueous liquor that contains at least one cationic assistant, at least one amphoteric and/or at least one cationic fluorescent whitening agent. The prints so obtained have very good washfastness, especially very good wetfastness, and the required degree of whiteness.

Abstract: The invention relates to a structurally viscous thickener which contains a copolymer of acrylic acid and acrylamide, a polyacrylic acid and optionally a solvent, emulsifiers, a neutralizing agent and a deaerator as additional components. The thickener may be in the form of a water-in-oil emulsion and is particularly suitable for use in printing pastes for dyeing and printing fibre material, especially textile fabrics.
