Abstract: A mechano-electrical fuse (10) for a hand grenade (76), which has a spring element for the storage of mechanical energy and which has a drive device connected to the spring element for driving an electrical generator (28) through mechanical energy which is stored in the spring element. The electrical generator (28) is connected through an electronic delay circuit (56) with a detonator (46), with which a booster charge (48) is associated. A barrier (40) is provided between the detonator (46) and the booster charge (48). The spring element is formed by a tensioning spring (24) associated with the handle lever (18) of the hand grenade (76). The drive device has a taut cable line (68) which is fixed at one end (70) to the generator shaft (30) and wound with a number of turns (72) around the generator shaft (30). The second end (74) of the cable line (68) is mounted to the handle lever (18).

An ejectable member of the type which is under consideration herein has the dimensions of the constructional elements reduced in the periphery of a parachute cassette, so as to resultingly provide for savings in deployment weight, and at a given caliber, to be able to increase the amount of storage space which is available for the parachute.

Abstract: An arrangement for drawing a braking parachute out of a front article of submunition of a submunition pair, including a withdrawing or pull line extending between the front and rear articles of submunition. Upon the articles of submunition distancing themselves from each other, there is opened a slip knot of the pull line, through which the latter is connected with the rear article of submunition.

Abstract: An ammunition housing or casing including a cover portion for the closing off of an explosives chamber, and which includes a booster charge and a mechanical safe-and-arm device. The cover portion is constituted of a cover plate and a bracket unit which is integrally formed thereon, on which bracket unit there is provided a clamping device opposite the cover plate, wherein the closure plate is provided with a cutout or breakthrough which is overlapped by the bracket unit, which forms a receiving space for the booster charge, and wherein the mechanical safe-and-arm device is installed beneath the bracket unit, and the safe-and-arm device is pressed against the cover plate by the clamping device.

A plate or disc member for the pouring opening is formed on a closure cover, which disc member lies tightly within the pouring opening and extends deeply into the latter; and wherein an annular rim extending over the pouring opening is formed on the closure cover, including axially open annular groove encompassing the disc member, into which there engages an annular projection of the damming bottom.

Abstract: An artillery projectile or shell containing a plurality of submunitions of the same type, each of which possesses a projectile-forming charge, an antenna on one side thereof, and a flight-stabilizing device on the opposite side. The submunitions are configured and arranged such that the projectile possesses the same location for the center of gravity and the same weight as would an artillery projectile or shell which has been introduced in the practice and which is filled with a charge.
