    Abstract: A fuel cell system and method for supplying electrical devices with electric energy in a vehicle wherein, to increase the efficiency of the power generation, the fuel cell system is supplied with atmospheric oxygen from the compressed air system. Additionally, a compressed air reservoir or a compressor for ambient air is provided in order to supply the fuel cell system with atmospheric oxygen.
