  • Patent number: 7427102
Abstract: A vehicle seat has seating components, such as a seat piece (20), a backrest (22) and a leg-rest (24), which are adjustable as to their positions, particularly in their relative inclination, by at least one operating device (26, 44). A monitoring device monitors all the boundary geometries (50, 52) of the moving seat components which may cause collisions and which have given spatial constraints (54). The monitoring device controls the operating devices (26, 44) at all points to guarantee a collision-free movement of all seat components within the spatial constraints. The vehicle seat considered as a total system can undergo adjustment processes without a damaging collision occurring.

  • Publication number: 20070129249
Abstract: A heat-sensitive recording medium is presented, comprising a substrate (2) with a first side and a second side remote therefrom a heat-sensitive recording layer (4) which is placed on the first side of the substrate (2) and comprises at least one colorant precursor and colour acceptor, the colorant precursor and colour acceptor reacting with one another under the influence of heat to form a colour, a printed protective layer (9) which covers the recording layer (4), is crosslinkable and crosslinked under the influence of energy-rich radiation and is based on (meth)acrylates, characterised in that the protective layer (9) contains from 65 to 95% by weight of one or more (meth)acrylates, selected from the group comprising polyether(meth)acrylate, epoxy(meth)acrylate and urethane(meth)acrylate from 0 to 20% by weight of photoinitiators and from 0.

  • Publication number: 20070107620
Abstract: A Method and a device for a rail traffic on parallel guide-way and also as toys which are effected and consist by a vehicle with wheels or linear motor sleds which, by means of transport member preferably from a kind of hydraulics (at toys by springs or folded bellows), is able to be lifted from one guide-way across to another neighbouring one without railway switch, whereby the guide-ways preferably are stepped arranged on carrier pillars. An individual rail traffic is rendered possible by the one which is not bound by general stops, because the vehicle is able to halt on the lowest gauge even on a guide-way-free pavement. The average velocity of the vehicle is increased with each rail step. The number of the lanes can be largely augmented because the vehicles are also able to run overhanging and partially overlapping and because the narrow gauge is chosen.

  • Patent number: 7194657
Abstract: A control and power supply system for the actuators of at least two airplane seats, which are preferably adjacent. The actuators of an airplane seat and the actuators of at least one other airplane seat are connected to a common control unit by a data link device. Each actuator can be supplied by at least two power units. In case of control unit failure, at least one actuator takes over the function of the control unit. For uncoupling defective parts of the corresponding bus structure, all the actuators are provided with elements for cutting the ingoing and outgoing data lines and power lines.

  • Patent number: 7140684
Abstract: A seat includes at least one inclinably adjustable seat component, such as a seat section (12), whose seat frame structure can be disposed on a floor structure (24) in such a way that the seating section is pivotable around its stationary legs (22). The pairs of stationary legs (22) in the region of the front edge (26) and the rear edge (28) of the seating section (12) act upon the seating section. An actuating device (30) adjusts the respective inclination of the seat section (12), and has an exit position, whereby the seat section (12) is orientated in an essentially parallel manner in relation to the floor structure (24) and cannot be inclined. The actuating device (30) extends in the exit position between the stationary legs (22), whereby one end (32) in the region of the front seat (26) is orientated counter to the floor structure (24) and the other end (34) in the region of the rear edge of the seat (28) is orientated in the direction of the seat frame structure (20).

  • Patent number: 7100985
Abstract: A seat includes a first seat piece (10) and a further seat piece (12), which may be adjusted for inclination by a controllable operating device (14). The operating device (14) engages the further seat piece (12) by at least two adjusters (30), which are moved by a common drive mechanism (34) with a mechanical coupling (36) between the adjusters (30), for an effectively uniform motion. A uniform inclination adjustment of the further seat piece, such as backrest and/or leg rest is achieved. The drive includes an actuator device with a longitudinally displaceable operating piece (40), engaged with a rocker (44), connected to an adjuster piece (30) and operating the mechanical coupling (36), with a further rocker (46), for the other adjuster (30).

  • Patent number: 6782313
Abstract: A diagnostic tester for motor vehicles is described, and programmable control units having self-diagnostic means are provided for in the motor vehicle that, in program-controlled fashion, control, monitor the engine control and other systems of the motor vehicle, generate error codes and store them, and which can be connected to an external diagnostic tester via a diagnostic/test plug in the motor vehicle. The external diagnostic tester is equipped with a program recognition and program loading device. The program version contained in the connected control unit is queried and recognized using the program recognition device. Then, if the program available in the motor vehicle and recognized via the diagnostic/test plug, available in the connected control unit of the motor vehicle is not stored in the latest and most current version, the respective latest version is loaded by the program loading device into the program storage device of the corresponding control unit.

  • Patent number: 6719245
Abstract: In a control and energy supply system for the drive units and control units for at least two, preferably adjacent, aircraft seats, all system components are interconnected via a data bus, so that the control system of the one seat is informed of what is happening to the other seat. The servomotors of the seats can be supplied with power via two separate networks. System failure caused by loose or disconnected plug type connections, cable breakage, short circuits or a failed control unit can be avoided by said redundancy concept.
