Abstract: A mobile communication data transmission method for a cell having one base station and more than one relay station involves switching the relay stations between at least two operating modes of signaling transmission under the control of the base station. A system transmits mobile communication data in a cell having one base station and more than one relay station. When transmitting an uplink signaling or a downlink signaling, the relay stations switch between at least two operating modes under the control of the base station. By using the method, network, relay station, and base station, data transmission in multiple modes can be achieved, so as to achieve a flexible relay scheme.

  • Patent number: 7773635
Abstract: Resources of two frequency division duplex (FDD) frequency bands at a distance from each other are allocated for transmissions by a time division duplex (TDD) transmission method. The resources in the first FDD frequency band are allocated for FDD transmissions in the uplink and for TDD transmissions predominantly in the uplink as the primary transmission direction, and in a secondary manner in the downlink as the secondary transmission direction. The resources in the second FDD frequency band are allocated for FDD transmissions in the downlink and for TDD transmissions predominantly in the downlink as the primary transmission direction and in a secondary manner in the uplink as the secondary transmission direction. No resources are allocated for time periods of an allocation of resources for one of the secondary transmission directions in the first and second frequency bands, for FDD transmissions in the counter transmission direction to this secondary transmission direction.

  • Publication number: 20100099422
Abstract: A method processes information to be sent via radio, according to which first bits represent a first number of N-tuples and second bits represent a second number of N-tuples. The first bits are to be sent using a first group of sub-bands of a frequency band, and the second bits are to be sent using a second group of sub-bands of the frequency band. A first modulation method is used for the first bits and a second modulation method is used for the second bits. The first bits are rearranged, forming M-tuples, and a symbol is formed from each M-tuple according to the first modulation method. The second bits are rearranged, forming P-tuples, and a symbol is formed from each P-tuple according to the second modulation method, and M?P. A corresponding method is used for processing information received by radio. Base stations and mobile radio stations carry out the method.

  • Publication number: 20100098182
Abstract: In a method and/or an OFDM device for SC-FDMA data transmission, a sequence of input data is transformed by means of a discrete transformation as transformed data signals of coded and modulated data signals on first frequency channels into a first frequency space over a first number of frequencies. The transformed data signals are mapped on second frequency channels in a second frequency space with a larger second number of frequencies. The transformed data signals on the second frequency channels are inverse-transformed using an inverse transformation. Data inversely transformed in such a way are provided for transmission. The transformed data signals are mapped into a frequency range of the second frequency channels in such a way that a constant component of the transformed data signals is mapped centrally within the frequency range.

  • Publication number: 20100099415
Abstract: A method for changing a route in wireless communication involves: when there is subscriber equipment requesting a change of route in a cell, a base station negotiates downlink measurement contents with a relay station facilitating the route change in the cell; a network side informs the subscriber equipment requesting a change of route of the negotiated downlink measurement contents, and the subscriber equipment executes a downlink measurement according to the received measurement contents and reports the downlink measurement results to a radio access point; and the radio access point executes the route change for said subscriber equipment according to the received measurement results. The method can effectively improve the accuracy of the route change and alleviate the delay due to the route change.

  • Publication number: 20100046402
Abstract: In a radio communication system, at least a first frequency band is subdivided into C radio resource units which are allocable for radio transmissions between radio stations and terminals. Each radio resource unit has at least two adjacent subcarriers, for allocation of at least a first resource unit for a data transmission between a terminal and a radio station. The radio station receives from the terminal a first short training symbol which has spectrally the same bandwidth as the first frequency band and includes at least Q frequency carriers, where Q is greater or equal to C, but smaller than the total number of subcarriers. The radio station estimates the radio channel for at least the first radio resource unit using the first short training symbol, and an allocation of the first radio resource unit to the terminal is broadcasted by the radio station.

  • Publication number: 20100046659
Abstract: A method for increasing the SINR of a data transmission channel is presented. A mobile network element, in applying a first method, performs a first estimate of the channel's SINR by changing a first characteristic of a signal transmitted through the channel. The mobile network element, in applying a further method, performs a further estimate of the channel's SINR by changing at least one further signal characteristic of the signal. The mobile network element selects which method yields a higher estimate of the channel's SINR. The mobile network element transmits a feedback signal to at least one affiliated base network element indicating the selected method that yields the highest channel SINR. Applying the selected method, the affiliated base network element changes the corresponding characteristic of a signal it transmits, thereby increasing the channel's SINR.

  • Publication number: 20100027500
Abstract: A method for the transmission of data between base stations and terminal devices uses at least one first time-frequency-spectrum which contains a plurality of transmission resources. A transmission resource is defined by a section of the time-frequency-spectrum, which is formed by at least one subcarrier subdivided into time slots and by at least one time slot. As part of the method, data are transmitted between a base station and a terminal device in a frame on one transmission resource. The method is characterized in that the base station transmits the data in such a way that a combination of subcarriers and/or time slots of the transmission resource used for the transmission of the frame forms a transmission pattern characterizing the nature of the data. The base station selects the transmission pattern from a number of previously defined transmission patterns, depending on the nature of the data to be transmitted.

  • Publication number: 20100015914
Abstract: This invention provides a type of method used for providing channel aware relays in enhanced relay clusters. This method is based on the Centralized Cluster Relay Implementation Proposal, and is implemented by transferring MMR-BS channel information based functions to RS. Specifically, in this invention, RS receives authorization from the MMR-BS to receive the channel information from the MS or next single-hop RS point within its single-hop range, and, after performing applicable channel aware relays, reports the processing result to MMR-BS; MMR-BS configures the signal according to the processing result and joins RS to transmit the control signal to the cluster MS. Using the method provided by this invention can reduce the channel overhead between MMR-BS and RS, and at the same time ensure that the RS composition is simple, and the production costs are low.
