  • Publication number: 20180016010
Abstract: A monument assembly for an aircraft includes at least one component of a primary structure of the aircraft, in particular a fuselage stiffening element, and a plurality of interconnected framework elements for creating a self-carrying three-dimensional framework. The at least one fuselage stiffening element is attachable to a skin of the aircraft and includes at least one bracket, wherein the framework is mechanically supported on the at least one bracket of the at least one component of the primary structure of the aircraft and wherein the framework comprises a plurality of compartments accessible from an interior region of the aircraft. The compartments are adapted for receiving and holding cabin equipment modules.

  • Patent number: 9284036
Abstract: The invention relates to a floor plate for bearing upon a floor framework in an aircraft. The floor framework is formed with a multiplicity of transverse beams which are arranged like a truss, and a multiplicity of longitudinal profiles, especially seat rail profiles, which extend transversely to the transverse beam. At least one sub-assembly, for example a kitchen module and/or a sanitary cell, can be fastened on the floor plate. The floor plate bears upon at least four longitudinal profiles and has at least one connecting point, especially an insert, for fastening of the sub-assembly. In addition, at least one system port is provided for the tool-less, pluggable connecting of the sub-assembly to any on-board systems of the aircraft, especially to electrical systems, to feed-air systems, to exhaust air systems, to fresh-water systems or to waste-water systems.

  • Patent number: 6068214
Abstract: Supports such as a pallet carrying aircraft passenger seats or a bottom of a freight container are secured to a floor structure in an aircraft. For this purpose the floor structure includes floor stringers (5) supported on and secured to floor joists (11). The stringers (5) are U-rails having an upwardly open U-cross-section with a first interlocking member (8) in the U-cross-section. An adapter (4, 13) having a present existing stud (8) and shear pin system (8A) is secured in the U-rail of the stringers (5). The adapter (4) is secured to or securable to the support by a latching (2, 3). Another adapter (13) carries rotatable rollers or roller balls that project slightly above an upwardly facing floor level to permit, for example, freight containers or seat pallets to roll along the floor. Instead of adapter (13) it is also possible to install a present existing container latch carrier (14) in the present stringer (5).
