  • Patent number: 11969693
Abstract: Provided is an ultra large-width coating device applied to a consecutive process. More particularly, the present invention relates to a coating device capable of maximizing productivity by consecutively manufacturing a large-width film without reducing physical properties of the manufactured film by overcoming a problem in that a coating width is limited during a coating process using the existing contact type coating roller, and a method for manufacturing an ultra large-width membrane using the same.

  • Publication number: 20230140297
Abstract: Provided is a method for manufacturing a brake pad used in a brake of a vehicle, which is capable of improving a limitation of separation of a friction material and a back plate of the brake pad. The method for manufacturing the brake pad includes manufacturing an intermediate plate and integrally pressing and molding a back plate and a friction material on both surfaces with the intermediate plate manufactured in a mold therebetween so that the back plate and the friction material are integrally coupled to each other by using the intermediate plate as a medium to manufacture the brake pad.

  • Publication number: 20230016971
Abstract: Provided is a caliper unit for a brake of a vehicle, in particular, a compact caliper unit capable of reducing a size, a weight, and a production cost of a component and improving fuel efficiency. The caliper unit for the brake includes an inner pad and an outer pad, which press both surfaces of a disc to generate braking force, a torque member fixed to a vehicle body and coupled to be movable forward and backward so that the inner pad and the outer pad press the disc, or the pressing of the inner pad and the outer pad to the disc is released, a caliper housing including a cylinder to which a brake hydraulic pressure is applied and a reaction force support part configured to press the outer pad to the disc, and a piston installed in the cylinder and moving forward and backward depending on a state of the brake hydraulic pressure applied to the cylinder to press the inner pad to the disc.

  • Publication number: 20180274608
Abstract: The present disclosure provides a brake apparatus comprising: a single monolithic brake shoe having a circular shape, wherein the shoe has a spacing defined therein at a predetermined location thereof; an actuator disposed in the spacing, wherein the actuator includes a hollow cylinder an a piston slidably contained in the cylinder, wherein when the actuator is activated, the spacing increases; and a brake lining lined on an outer face of the brake shoe, wherein when the spacing increases, the lining selectively contacts a brake drum, wherein the piston is step-shaped such that a braking force of the brake apparatus having the single monolithic brake shoe is substantially equal to a braking force of a brake apparatus having two individual brake shoes.

  • Publication number: 20180100553
Abstract: Disclosed herein is a single shoe-type brake apparatus. The single shoe-type brake apparatus includes: an integrated sideways ā€œUā€-shaped single brake shoe configured to form an open ring shape, to be integrated into a single body, and to have a separation region on one side thereof so that it is subjected to external force in a direction where it is extended to both sides thereof; a cylinder installed in the separation region, and configured to provide the external force; and a friction material coupled to the outer circumferential surface of the brake shoe, and installed to selectively come into contact with a brake drum as the brake shoe is extended. The friction coefficient of the friction material is considerably lower than that of a common brake friction material, and a brake factor is almost identical to that of a brake apparatus having two shoes.

  • Patent number: 6598091
Abstract: A method and a medium for rendering documents to a browser from a server are provided. According to the rendering method, the browser requests a predetermined document and at the same time transmits user's computing environmental information to the server. The server evaluates the computing environmental information received from the browser. The server converts the requested document based on the evaluated user's computing environmental information. The server transmits the converted document to the browser. The server renders the documents to the browser in an appropriate manner by including only the information accessible in compliance to the user's computing environmental information, or converting it into the document accessible by the user. Thus, the data volume to be processed by the browser as well as the network traffic are reduced, and thus the document transfer rate is enhanced. In addition, the user having a limited computing environment can sufficiently utilize the documents.

  • Patent number: 6332156
Abstract: An e-mail processing method for transmitting an activity program along with data, to thereby perform various forms of activities upon reception of e-mail. The sender first creates a message having a message header and a message body including data which is to be sent to a receiver. If the sender wishes to designate an activity for the receiver, the sender creates an activity program to perform the activity, attaches the activity program to the message, and sends the activity program along with the data. When the receiver receives the message, it is determined whether the activity program is attached to the received message. If the activity program is attached to the received message, the activity program is executed.

  • Patent number: 5910194
Abstract: An automatic parking brake cable tension adjustment apparatus includes a first connecting member attached by a cable to a brake handle, a first pivoting member, a second pivoting member, a mechanical linkage between the first and second pivoting member, and a second connecting member attached by a cable to a parking brake. As the brake cable becomes extended past a certain point, the first pivoting member contacts a fixed stop and pivots, thereby pivoting the second pivoting member. A threaded connection between the second pivoting member and the second connecting member rotates, automatically adjusting the tension of the brake cable.
