Publication number: 20230330886Abstract: The present invention is configured such that a guide bar for supporting a diagnostic reagent paper includes a groove and the groove prevents the diagnostic reagent paper from being supported by a guide member in a section where knives using a shear force cut the diagnostic reagent paper, whereby a pressed line generated when the guide member presses the diagnostic reagent paper due to a cutting force by the knives is prevented from being formed on a strip so as to eliminate defects of the strip. In particular, the present invention is configured such that the guide member is installed to be disposed to pass through a space between a first shaft and a second shaft, each formed by repeatedly arranging two knives facing each other and one space, so as to guide the diagnostic reagent paper, whereby a section through which the diagnostic reagent paper passes has a substantially rectangular shape.Type: ApplicationFiled: October 14, 2021Publication date: October 19, 2023Inventors: Seok Hyun LEE, Won Ha LEE

Publication number: 20100266157Abstract: The present invention relates to a method for embedding and detecting watermark wherein forgery/alternation of image can be identified and the location of forgery/alternation can be verified by embedding and detecting watermark into a digital image which is shot in real time. Watermark is generated by using a quantized coefficient after frequency transform used in the compression process. By embedding this into an image, image can be compressed simultaneously with embedding watermark. The present invention discloses a method for embedding robust watermark which embeds a random sequence circular shifted from an original pseudo random sequence by the distance d as watermark into an image. The present invention discloses a technology for generating and embedding watermark by using a DCT coefficient quantized during the process for MPEG compressing the image, wherein said watermark can be generated and embedded in a unit of macro blocks or slices.Type: ApplicationFiled: April 13, 2010Publication date: October 21, 2010Applicants: Marktek, Markany Inc.Inventors: Dong-Hwan SHIN, Kyong-Soon Kim, Won-Ha Lee, Jong-Uk Choi

Patent number: 7140043Abstract: A method for embedding and detecting watermark by a quantization of a characteristic value of a signal is disclosed. In order to embed watermark, first, a signal which will be watermarked is segmented in a predetermined time period, and a characteristic value with regard to a signal within the frame obtained therefrom is evaluated in a predetermined manner. Quantized values within a set corresponding to a value of pattern information embedded into the frame among a plurality of sets including one or more quantized value respectively is compared with each characteristic value so as to determine a quantized value closest to the characteristic value. The intensity of insertion used for modifying the signal within the frame in order to make the characteristic value same as the determined quantized value is evaluated, and the signal within the frame is modified based on the evaluated intensity of insertion. The watermark detection is performed in a similar process as the embedment.Type: GrantFiled: April 8, 2004Date of Patent: November 21, 2006Assignees: Marktec Inc., Markany Inc.Inventors: Jong-Uk Choi, Won-Ha Lee, Seung-Won Shin

Sync signal insertion/detection method and apparatus for synchronization between audio file and text
Publication number: 20040249862Abstract: A method for inserting sync signal which can be outputted in synchronization with the text into audio file s while playing audio files, and apparatus thereof are disclosed. First, information of a size of the first part of the frame is obtained from the second part of the frame. Then, based on the obtained information, a start position and a size of the third part of the frame is determined, and at least a part of the sync signal is inserted into the third part of the frame. Therefore, a sync signal can be effectively inserted into audio files without damaging the contents of the audio file.Type: ApplicationFiled: April 16, 2004Publication date: December 9, 2004Inventors: Seung-Won Shin, Won-Ha Lee, Nam-Hoon Kim -
Publication number: 20040021549Abstract: The supply of works of authorship and their authentication are provided by a service system and method for supplying and authenticating digital data works of authorship based on a watermarking system. The works of authorship including invisible information on a copyright is provided through this system. In the event that illegal use of original works of authorship is sensed, the illegal copy and use of multimedia contents could be prevented by presenting accurate technical evidence to support the information on a copyright through authentication of an authentication organization and thereby the protection of a copyright is possible. Authentication of a copyright of the contents is performed by the steps of imbedding and extracting of a digital watermark such as a logo or signature of a copyright holder on a data.Type: ApplicationFiled: August 6, 2003Publication date: February 5, 2004Inventors: Jong-Uk Choi, Won-Ha Lee

Publication number: 20030225701Abstract: A system for protecting copyright and content itself of digital contents generated with respect to their publication and distribution according to the means of wire/wireless communication, internet or off-line. First, digital contents inclusive of specific form of encrypted keys are received. A user compares such receipt with system information indicating characteristics of his/her unique system he/she is using, and when the compared information corresponds to each other, the digital contents are generated. The digital contents received in this regard are provided in a encrypted state according to the user's system information, and the digital contents are generated from extraction of decryption keys of the digital contents and from decryption of specific material among the digital contents. Accordingly, use only in the pertinent system is permitted so as to prevent illegal use of the contents.Type: ApplicationFiled: February 26, 2003Publication date: December 4, 2003Inventors: Won Ha Lee, Ji Sun Seo, Jong Uk Choi

Publication number: 20030097568Abstract: The present invention provides a system and method for finding exact area of forged or altered data in a watermarked image. A watermarked image is generated in such manner that each pixel value in the original image is adjusted to a predetermined level; first watermark keys to be embedded, said keys corresponding to each pixel, are generated based on predetermined user key data; a watermark is embedded by selectively adding or subtracting a predetermined value to or from each pixel value according to the first watermark key corresponding each pixel. The forged or altered data is found by such method that a second watermark key is generated based on the user key data; the first watermark key is extracted from the watermarked image; and the co-relation between the corresponding watermarks in these watermark keys is calculated. Corresponding watermark keys are compared in every pixel.Type: ApplicationFiled: November 14, 2002Publication date: May 22, 2003Inventors: Jong-Uk Choi, Won-Ha Lee

Publication number: 20020194492Abstract: A method and system for protecting copyright of digital contents and contents themselves which are distributed. A user receives the encrypted digital contents and encrypted decryption key capable of decrypting the encrypted digital contents. A key is generated from the system information representing a user personal unique system characteristic and the encrypted contents decryption key is decrypted. Decrypting the encrypted contents decryption key is proceeded only when a key generated by extracting information of a personal system of the contents to be used by a user is identical to a decryption key of the encrypted contents decryption key. When the contents decryption key is decrypted, the encrypted contents are decrypted and generated using the above decrypted contents decryption key.Type: ApplicationFiled: April 30, 2002Publication date: December 19, 2002Inventors: Jong-Uk Choi, Jong-Won Kim, Nam-Yong Lee, Won-Ha Lee
