A CABLECARD transmits a new flow request message for requesting a connection of a data transmitting and receiving path to a host. The host receiving the new flow request message transmits a new flow response message to the CABLECARD. The new flow request message includes a control field for recording processing information on an error generated during communication.

In the communication method, the host acquires identification information of the cable card and transmits a message including the identification information of the cable card to the IP address allocation server. The host receives an IP address for the cable card from the IP address allocation server and sends the received IP address for the cable card to the cable card. Accordingly, it is possible to acquire the IP addresses for the host and the cable card via one physical interface. In addition, it is possible to stabilize an overall system by efficiently operating the IP process according to an operation mode of the cable card.

Abstract: This invention describes a system that allows a user to enter domain names in any language of the user's preference by automatically converting them into the corresponding real domain names in English that comply with the Domain Name System. The system incorporates two conversion methods. The first method is to convert the coded portions of a domain name such as organization code and country code. In this method, each coded portion in English is pre-assigned an equivalent word or code in the user's preferred language, and the equivalent word or code entered in the user's preferred language is converted into the corresponding real coded portion in English. The second method is to convert the remaining portions of a domain name such as organization name and server computer name.

Abstract: A golf tee setter according to the present invention allows golfers to use a real tee on a practice mat to practice their swing in golf driving ranges as if they are actually practicing on real ground. The golf tee setter is configured to be placed in the rubber tee hole of the practice mat and has a slit formed in a tee holder to hold the tee in substantially vertical position in relation to the practice mat to place a golf ball on the tee. The slit has a plurality of flaps extending from front and rear inner walls of the slit. The flaps are made of a flexible material to absorb any tilting force of the golf tee and prevents the golf tee from ejecting from the golf tee setter. The golf tee setter includes a base portion which has a slightly larger diameter than the body of the tee holder to enable the tee holder to be inserted into the practice mat from the top surface instead of from the bottom surface. In addition, a cord tethers the golf tee and the golf tee setter for repeated use of the golf tee.
