  • Patent number: 7695693
Abstract: A thin type reformer for a fuel cell is provided, and includes a substrate, fuel filling portion, reformer portion, CO remover, and cover. The substrate forms a passage within. The fuel filling portion fills the passage with fuel. The reformer portion forms a passage to one side of the fuel filling portion in the substrate, and the CO remover forms a passage at an opposite side of the fuel filling portion in the substrate. The cover covers the top of the substrate and seals the passages. The fuel filling portion partitions the reformer portion's heat absorbing reaction and the CO remover's heat radiating reaction and induces a reforming reaction. The reacting efficiencies of the reformer portion and the CO remover substantially increase. Because a compact air supplying pump can be used due to an inner pressure reduction in the CO remover, the entire device can be miniaturized.

  • Patent number: 7298676
Abstract: The optical pickup apparatus includes a light emitting means, an optical means, and an optical detection means. The light emitting means emits a single beam. The optical means diffracts the single beam, focuses the optical spot of the diffracted beam on a track, and transmits the diffracted beam to an outside. The optical detection means includes a first optical detection unit on which a central beam having a 0-order diffraction coefficient is focused, and second and third optical detection units on which side beams having ±1 diffraction coefficients are focused, respectively. Each optical detection unit is segmented into a specific number of optical detection areas, and at least one of the optical detection units is provided with an optical detection area on which a tracking error signal used to compensate for tracking offset attributable to optical axis offset of an objective lens is not formed.

  • Publication number: 20050195706
Abstract: Disclosed herein is an optical pickup device for optical disks having different track pitches. The optical pickup device performs tracking servo follow-up using the diffraction patterns of the side regions of a beam reflected and diffracted from an optical disk where a tracking error offset attributable to the left or right shift of an object lens is minimized, and performs focus servo follow-up using the diffraction pattern of a center region of the diffracted beam. Accordingly, the present invention performs tracking servo follow-up using the diffraction patterns of the side regions of a light distribution, in which a tracking error offset attributable to the left or right shift of an object lens is minimized, so that the present invention has an effect in that a correct FES/TES for optical disks having different track pitches can be detected.

  • Publication number: 20050122862
Abstract: A tracking servo control apparatus and method in which the distance between a main beam and a side beam is adjustable by a rotatable grating, so as to perform a tracking servo control operation in accordance with a differential push-pull (DPP) method for both the DVD-ROM (Read Only Memory) and the DVD-RAM (Random Access Memory) having different track pitches.

  • Patent number: 5369631
Abstract: A recording/reproducing apparatus for an optical tape for optically recording and reproducing information on an optical tape having a thermal converting layer. An optical pickup is divided into two separate parts, one for recording and the other for reproducing, and has an erasing device for optically erasing with the optical pickup for reproducing. The optical pickup for reproducing has a collimating lens for collimating the divergent light beam of a laser diode for reproducing or erasing the information group recorded on at least one track of the optical tape at the same time, a cylindrical lens for focussing the collimated light beam in the vertical direction, and a photodiode array for detecting light reflected from the tape. Also, the optical pickup for reproducing employs an aperture having a square hole for effectively focussing the light beam.
