Abstract: A parallel tree labeling apparatus and method for processing an eXtensible Markup Language document (XML). The parallel tree labeling apparatus for processing an XML document includes a data distributor configured to divide the XML document into a plurality of data blocks; and a labeling component configured to receive elements of each of the plurality of data blocks, perform a labeling procedure on the plurality of data blocks in parallel, and generate a final label by combining partial labels.

Abstract: An apparatus and method for allowing a plurality of playback devices to stream content of a master device simultaneously is provided. When the master device selects one of the playback devices as a reference device and multicasts a synchronization packet to the playback devices, the playback devices determine a synchronization time by comparing their own synchronization packet reception time with a synchronization packet reception time of the reference device. When the master device streams content, into which a time stamp is inserted based on the time of the reference device, the playback devices play the content based on the determined synchronization time. Therefore, even when the playback devices have different network latencies from the master device, the playback devices may accurately perform synchronized content playback.

Abstract: An Open Internet Protocol Television (IPTV) platform is provided. By providing remote medical services to users in the Open IPTV environment using a remote medical service providing apparatus including: an application programming interface (API) calling unit to call, when receiving a request for receiving a remote medical service from a counselor's terminal, an API of an Open Internet Protocol Television (IPTV) platform; and a service provider to provide the remote medical service to a user through the API, it is possible to provide remote medical service operators with environments where they can develop and share various remote medical to services and content.

Abstract: A terminal apparatus and a method for time synchronization are provided. The method includes setting a reference time for a time synchronization with another terminal apparatus, transmitting a sync signal comprising the set reference time to the other terminal apparatus, and if a response signal to the sync signal is received from the other terminal apparatus, performing the time synchronization with the other terminal apparatus based on a transmission time of the sync signal and a reception time of the response signal. Therefore, a terminal apparatus further simply and rapidly performs a time synchronization with another terminal apparatus.

Abstract: A mobile terminal and a method of displaying a menu thereof are provided. The method includes displaying a list of upper-level menus in an order on a display screen, displaying a first upper-level menu at an upper end of the display panel, a second upper-level menu that is next to the first upper-level menu in the order at a lower end of the display screen, and lower-level menus of the first upper-level menu in a list between the first upper-level menu and the second upper-level menu in response to selection of the first upper-level menu from the list of upper-level menus, and executing a selected lower-level menu in response to selection of one of the lower-level menus.

Abstract: A virtual wheel interface structure of a mobile terminal having a wheel input unit and a character input. A virtual keypad in a wheel shape is displayed on a display unit adjacent to the wheel input unit having a wheel, a selection, and navigation keys. The virtual wheel keypad includes a plurality of virtual keys disposed in the wheel rotation direction. A screen highlight and a cursor are displayed on the display unit. The screen highlight is located at a specific position on the virtual wheel keypad to select a virtual key, and the cursor indicates a character input position. If the wheel key rotates, the virtual wheel keypad rotates correspondingly and the screen highlight is located at a specific virtual key. A character allocated to the virtual key in the screen highlight is input by pressing the selection key or a navigation key, or by rotating the wheel key.

Abstract: In a method of measuring a critical dimension of a pattern, a pattern image is obtained from an object pattern. A design pattern of the object pattern and the pattern image are matched to determine a detection region on the pattern image. An optimum turning point of the pattern contour is determined in the detection region and a ROI (region of interest) is set within a predetermined range from the optimum turning point. A critical dimension of the pattern is measured in the ROI.

Abstract: A mobile terminal with a function for setting an output volume of an audio signal to prevent acoustic shock is disclosed. In the mobile terminal, a receiver is integrated into a speaker. The speaker limits the initial output volume of an audio signal to a predetermined level. The mobile terminal provides a menu for setting an output volume of an audio signal. The menu enables a user to select either to maintain the currently limited volume level or to change to a volume level set for a speaker mode. Since an audio signal received with the connection of an incoming call is output at a predetermined reference volume level, acoustic shock caused by unexpectedly high-level of sound volume can be prevented.

Abstract: There are provided a network security state visualization device and method, the device including: a security event collector collecting original security event information from network security apparatuses; a security event analyzer analyzing the original security event information collected by the security event collector and extracting characteristic data corresponding to a security event; and a three-dimensional visualization display unit visualizing a correlation between the characteristic data extracted by the security event analyzer as a three-dimensional screen to be displayed.

The apparatus includes a traffic feature extracting unit, a network condition displaying unit, and a traffic abnormal condition determining unit. The traffic feature extracting unit extracts information including source address, source port, destination address, and destination port from network traffics, selects two of the extracted information, and calculates unique dispersion degrees of two unselected information. The network condition displaying unit displays a two-dimensional cube expressed using the calculated unique dispersion degrees for the classified traffics. The traffic abnormal condition determining unit determines whether the traffics are in an abnormal condition or not based on the two-dimensional security cube.

The method for analyzing a security grade of an information property includes: selecting an information property as an object of security grade analysis, among information properties for which risk degree analysis and importance evaluation in managerial, physical, and technological aspects are performed; calculating the property risk degree of the selected property based on the weighted mean of risk degrees and importance evaluation; and mapping the weighted mean of the risk degree and the importance on a 2-dimensional plane having the X-axis indicating the weighted mean of a risk degree and the Y-axis indicating importance, and based on the appearing result, determining the priority of a safeguard.

Abstract: There are provided a network state display apparatus and method capable of easily determining a present network security state in real time by analyzing an abnormality and harmful traffic deteriorating performance of a network in software by using a result of combining essential characteristics of traffic, a distinct dispersion, and an entropy and displaying the network state to be intuitionally recognized, the method including selecting and combining three of a source address, a source port, a destination address, and a destination port of collected traffic and calculating a distinct dispersion and an entropy of a residual one therefrom; displaying the calculated distinct dispersion and entropy on a security radar where the distinct dispersion and the entropy are assigned to an angle and a radius; determining whether a network state is abnormal, based on a result displayed on the security radar; and detecting reporting detailed information on abnormal traffic causing the abnormal network state.

When a letter desired by the user is displayed on a display, input of the letter may be fixed upon release of the touch. The speed at which a letter is changed is determined by a learning operation of a control unit.
