    Abstract: After receiving a web page containing several templates from a web server, a mobile device converts an original color in a selected template of the web page into a new color. Then the mobile device displays the color-converted web page on a display unit which may be formed of OLED. Colors of a background template and a text template can be converted into a low brightness color such as black and a high brightness color such as white, respectively. Therefore, when such a web page is displayed on a mobile device, power consumption is effectively reduced. In another embodiment, the web server may perform a color conversion before sending web pages to the mobile device.
