Abstract: A call connection method and apparatus are disclosed. When a service is released in a portable terminal that supports different communication modes due to a network problem, the call connection method and apparatus reconnects the service to another network. The call connection method includes performing a first service through a first network, analyzing, when the connected first service is released, the cause of disconnection, acquiring, when the cause of disconnection is a problem in the first network, connection information, and attempting to connect a second service through a second network based on the connection information.

Abstract: An apparatus for distributing mobile resources in a cloud computing environment includes: a resource register configured to analyze, when a request for mobile resource registration is inputted by a user, the requested resource and confirm if the resource is registerable; a provisioning manager configured to create a MVO, when the mobile resource is a registerable resource, and register the mobile resource; a metadata repository configured to store metadata information regarding the registered mobile resource; and a resource manager configured to control the provisioning manager, when the resource register receives a request for the resource registration, so as to create a MVO, register the resource, and store metadata regarding the registered mobile resource information.

The media content may include a sequence of one or more periods. The metadata may include a start time attribute and/or a duration attribute of each of the periods. The metadata may determine a start time of each of the periods, and a start time of each of segments included in each of the periods. A terminal may access segments included in each of the periods, may decode and render data of media content included in the segments, and may play back the media content.

Abstract: Disclosed is a method of removing asbestos from an asbestos-containing material by 99% through low temperature heat treatment. The method includes mixing an asbestos-containing material with an oxalic acid at a weight ratio in a range of 1:0.002 to 1:1 and performing heat treatment with respect to a mixture at a temperature of 90° C. to 110° C. to remove asbestos from the asbestos-containing material by 99% or more.

Abstract: An apparatus and method for virtualizing multiple terminals are provided. The apparatus includes a terminal virtualizer configured to virtualize a group of a plurality of transmitter terminals of a first user and a group of receiver terminals of a second user through the change of source and destination addresses of a packet that is transmitted between the transmitter terminal group and the receiver terminal group so that the transmitter terminal group and the receiver terminal group may be recognized as if they were single terminals. The channel control apparatus comprises: a pattern information collection unit configured to collect data regarding a channel zapping pattern of a user for a cycle of a previously set period; a bandwidth management unit configured to set a pre-joining bandwidth, which is an allowable bandwidth for channels to be pre-joined, based on the collected data; a channel selection unit configured to select channels to be pre-joined according to channel preference of a user; and a channel pre-join unit configured to pre-join the channels selected by the channel selection unit within the set pre-joining bandwidth.

Abstract: An access point, a layer 2 switch, and multicast handover supporting method using the access point and the layer 2 switch are provided. According to the method of supporting multicast handover, when a mobile node is handed over from one cell to another while being provided with a multicast service in a wireless mobile communication network, the L2 switch performs multicast traffic routing in response to reception of MAC address information and multicast service source and group information from the access point. Hence, multicast traffic can be supported to be fast and seamlessly handed over within layer 2 network equipment.
