The music linked photocasting service method includes reproducing music at the request of a user, analyzing a mood of the reproduced music at prescribed times, until music reproduction is completed, searching photographs suitable for a analyzed mood of the music, and displaying the searched photographs.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a method, apparatus, and system for data transmission based on a DLNA (Digital Living Network Alliance) network that classifies contents files which are stored in a DMS according to a support of the DLNA network to make a contents list. Support is provided to convert a file attribute of a selected file into a file attribute which can be applied to the DLNA network to generate, in case a user selects a non-supported file which is not applied to the DLNA network. The invention outputs the selected file to a display unit, captures the outputted image to convert into a file which can be applied to the DLNA network.

The data transmission system includes a content creation unit creating at least one content, a content correlation check unit checking a created content to classify the created content by category and a conversion content creation unit extracting header information and body information of the classified content and converting the extracted information into preset type information.

Abstract: Provided are an apparatus and method for providing additional information of media content. In digital contents management, the apparatus for providing additional information of media content includes a media source, a media renderer, an additional information analyzer, a smart progress bar, and an additional information renderer. The media source receives media and additional information from a local file, a portable storage medium or a network and transfers the received media and additional information into the apparatus. The media renderer renders the received media to a user. The additional information analyzer analyzes the received additional information. The smart progress bar controls the playback of the media based on the analyzed additional information. The additional information renderer displays the additional information to the user by controlling the smart progress bar.

Abstract: A streaming content management apparatus and method for recording and replaying video and audio data using a real time video indexing function are provided. A streaming content management apparatus of a multimedia broadcast receiver includes a recording unit for recording an incoming content stream in units of segment together with indexes and a player for replaying the content stream recorded by the recording unit in response to an index that is input to request playback from a segment corresponding to the input index. The streaming content management apparatus divides the streaming content incoming through a broadcast channel in units of segment and stores segments of the streaming content with storage index and chapter information such that it is possible to quickly retrieve a playback position using the storage index or chapter information.
