  • Patent number: 10210967
Abstract: The present invention relates to a power cable. More particularly, the present invention relates to a power cable which is, when compared to the existing power cables, lightweight and includes a watertight layer which improves a corrosion resistance and is effectively suppressed from being peeled since the interlayer adhesiveness thereof is maintained regardless of an externally physical impact and a temperature change.

  • Publication number: 20080198389
Abstract: An outer and inner diameter measuring method for a transparent tube in a non-contact manner includes the steps of irradiating a light having a linear sectional shape, inclined at a pre-determined angle with respect to a plane perpendicular to a length direction of a transparent tube, to the transparent tube; obtaining a light beam pattern formed since the light having a linear sectional shape is intercepted and refracted by the tube; obtaining an inner diameter of the tube by extracting inner diameter information of the tube from the obtained light beam pattern; and obtaining an outer diameter from a light beam pattern refracted by the tube, thereby calculating the outer and inner diameters together.

  • Patent number: 7263263
Abstract: A method for monitoring a spin imparted on an optical fiber in order to reduce Polarization Mode Dispersion (PMD) includes the steps of imparting a spin on a high-temperature optical fiber which is drawn from a preform, photographing a dispersion pattern peculiar to the spun optical fiber with a camera from scattered light naturally generated by the spin imparted on the optical fiber, and displaying the photographed dispersion pattern. The method enables monitoring of rate and period of the spin imparted on the optical fiber on the basis of the displayed dispersion pattern.

  • Patent number: 7046876
Abstract: Disclosed is an interleaver for an optical communication system. A dual collimator is combined with a first optical fiber acting as a light input port and one end of a second optical fiber spaced from the first optical fiber, and switches light advancing along the first and second optical fibers into parallel light. A beam splitter is arranged so that one surface is opposite to the dual collimator, and transmits one half of an input light and reflects the other half of the input light. A single collimator is arranged opposite to the other surface of the beam splitter, and combined with the other end of the second optical fiber so as to switch light advancing toward the other end of the second optical fiber into parallel light. An output optical fiber is arranged opposite to the other surface of the beam splitter and acts as a light output port.
