Abstract: The invention relates in general to the field of mobile devices e.g. mobile communication terminals and a method for answering silently a call. According to the invention a call is answered silently with a mobile communication terminal in such a way that a receiver is kept on so that a user of the mobile communication terminal hears the caller, the user doesn't need to speak, when answering silently, and further a pre-recorded voice tag corresponding to a keyboard symbol of the mobile communication terminal selected by the user during the call is played to the caller as a response. Moreover, according to an embodiment of the invention a microphone of the mobile communication terminal is also switched off, and keyboard symbols and corresponding tag names are displayed in the display of the mobile communication terminal.
