  • Patent number: 7895310
Abstract: Provided is a network management system including a management message storage for registering a key of a management message for network management and a value of the key according to a map configuration; a network management message processing unit for transmitting the management message including the key mapped to the key value of the management message storage for the network management, and a network element receives a management message from the network management processing unit, it extracts a key value corresponding to a key included in the management message from the management message storage, accesses an information value based on the key value from a Management Information Base (MIB), and transmits the information value to the network management processing unit According to the provided network management system, it is not only possible to support a variety of network management protocols, but an existing message configuration is unaffected even when a new protocol is supported.

  • Patent number: 7444444
Abstract: The invention relates to a message processing system and method using an external storage medium. Upon receiving a message, the system and method examine the status of a first internal memory. If the first internal memory has an insufficient reserved space, the message is automatically stored in the external storage medium, and a second internal memory is generated to store a newly added message in the second internal memory while loading the message stored in the external storage medium in the first internal memory.

  • Publication number: 20080059623
Abstract: An NE management system and method using SNMP manages NEs and updates a management information list thereof without confusion even though NE settings are changed. The NE management system includes an NE and a management server. The NE generates NE settings in response to a setting change, transmits the NE settings to the management server, and receives a complete message from the management server. The management server receives the NE settings from the NE, acquires an element type of the NE based upon the received NE settings to determine an MIB to use, manages a registration list, and notifies the NE that a registration process is accomplished. The NE management method and system integrate registration and management of a plurality of NEs in a ubiquitous environment where various types and versions of the NEs exist together.
