Abstract: A Plasma Display Device having a chassis base which absorbs vibration and noise includes: a Plasma Display Panel (PDP) on which images are displayed; circuit board assemblies to control the PDP; and a chassis base having the PDP and the circuit board assemblies attached thereto, the chassis base including: a first plate facing the PDP, a second plate having the circuit board assemblies attached thereto; and at least one vibration absorption member interposed between the first and second plates to absorb vibration and noise.

In one embodiment, the plasma display device includes a plasma display panel, a first base member coupled with the plasma display panel, a second base member connected to the first base member, and a thermally conductive cushion member interposed between the first base member and the second base member.

Abstract: A plasma display apparatus is provided to reduce noise. The plasma display apparatus includes a plasma display panel, a chassis which is disposed behind the plasma display panel and supports the plasma display panel, a circuit unit which is disposed behind the chassis and drives the plasma display panel, a signal transmitting member which transmits electrical signals generated in the circuit unit to the plasma display panel, and a cover plate which covers a portion of the signal transmitting member. A penetrating hole is formed on the cover plate.
