Abstract: A method for transmitting messages on a paging channel is disclosed, in which data burst messages are efficiently transmitted through the paging channel. If the data burst messages transmitted through the paging channel are not transmitted on their slots due to overhead messages, the data burst messages are delayed by a next overhead message transmission period having no overhead message in a system which does not employ a corrected quick paging channel while the data burst messages are first transmitted within a limited range in a system which employs a corrected quick paging channel. Therefore, a receiving rate of the data burst messages can be improved.

Abstract: A method for generating an electronic document by continuously photographing a document having many pages as a moving picture includes: photographing the document and generating moving picture data; detecting data of one page of the document by performing motion estimation on the moving picture data, performing document recognition on the data of the one page, and storing the data of the one page as text data; detecting whether data of a next page is input by performing motion estimation on the moving picture data, performing document recognition on the data of the next page, and storing the data of the next page as text data; and storing the text data for all of the pages as one electronic document. Thus, a document having multiple pages may be easily converted into an electronic document by photographing a single moving picture without having to individually photograph each page of the document.

Abstract: A method and apparatus of interleaving memory banks in a multi-layer bus system. The apparatus includes a plurality of slave interface units receiving signals requesting a bus access and generating control signals, and a controller receiving the control signals generated from the plurality of slave interface units and generating signals required to access the memory banks. Accordingly, it is possible to greatly reduce a delay time caused when accessing a synchronous dynamic random access memory (SDRAM), for example, in a multi-layer bus system.

Abstract: Disclosed is a method of transmitting/receiving a broadcast message in a mobile communication system enabling to transmit a broadcast message including a video and the like. The present invention proposes an additional broadcast channel so as to transmit a broadcast message such as a video to a mobile station. Moreover, the present invention proposes a method of enabling a mobile station to confirm a summary or channel information so as to demand a broadcast message selectively by previously transmitting information, which is called a data burst summary message or a data burst message by the present invention, about the summary of the broadcast message or a channel through which the broadcast message will be transmitted prior to transmitting the broadcast message having large traffic volume.
