  • Publication number: 20150168440
Abstract: The present invention relates to a method of measuring the rotating speed of a sphere for controlling the posture of a satellite. The method includes: an accelerometer installing operation in which a pair of accelerometers is installed at each accelerometer coordinate axis, the accelerometers being located in the sphere; an accelerometer coordinate axis alignment operation in which the accelerometer coordinate axes are aligned to allow the accelerometer coordinate axes to be in line with system coordinate axes, respectively; an acceleration measuring operation in which a current is applied to an electromagnet to rotate the sphere and sequentially measure the acceleration; an acceleration calculating operation in which only the acceleration generated by the rotation of the sphere is calculated; and a rotating speed calculating operation in which the rotating speed of the sphere with respect to each coordinate axis is calculated using the acceleration.

  • Patent number: 8401787
Abstract: Provided is a method of determining a drive lane using a steering wheel model. The method includes a step S100 of preparing a precise digital map having an accuracy capable of differentiating a road lane; a step S200 of estimating a vehicle location on a road using GPS information; a step S300 of checking whether the vehicle location information is normal using a difference between variation in the azimuth angle of the vehicle obtained by using the GPS information and variation in the azimuth angle of the vehicle obtained by using the steering wheel model; and a step S500 of determining and outputting a drive lane occupied by a running vehicle.

  • Patent number: 8204685
Abstract: Provided is a road lane recognition method in a navigation device, which can differentiate a road lane occupied by a vehicle running on bidirectional lanes, including estimating a vehicle location based on satellite signal received from a carrier-based navigation satellite system and correction information received from a master station; determining a drive direction of the vehicle using vehicle location information and road lane information stored in a digital map; for each road lane in the road lane information, calculating a distance between a center line of the respective road lane and the vehicle location using the vehicle location information and the road lane information; and determining the road lane having a minimum value among the calculated distances as a drive lane.
