Abstract: A lever locking knife with reversing blade having a handle with a slotted recess therein for removably receiving the blade, the handle having a lever pivoted from it, now the blade having a notch that receives a portion of the lever when the lever is in the closed position to hold the blade either in the extended, usable position, or received within the handle recess.

Abstract: A slide lock folding blade knife comprising a blade pivotally carried between spaced handle plates, a sleeve member slidably carried by the handle plates, the sleeve member having a first position adjacent to the blade pivot point and engageable with the blade for holding the blade in either a fully open position or a fully closed position, the sleeve having a second opposite retracted position clear of the blade during opening or closing of the blade and a thumb-operated locking leaf carried by the handle for selectively locking the sleeve member in its first position.

Abstract: A folding blade pocketknife having a pivotally mounted leaf-type spring, one end of the spring being in contact with a cam surface of a pivotally mounted blade, the opposite end of the spring being in contact with a moveable surface, said moveable surface being adjustable for adjusting the effective tension of the knife blade.
