  • Patent number: 6546998
Abstract: A micro-multi channel heat exchanger includes a lower header having a hollow for receiving refrigerant and an upper header opposite to the lower header. A plurality of tubes are arranged in a length direction of the upper and lower headers at fixed intervals, each having opposite ends fixed to the upper header and the lower header. A plurality of channels are formed in the tubes and elongated to be in communication with the hollows of the two headers. Each channel has an area of a section, parallel to a length direction of the two headers, reducing at a fixed ratio as the channels go from an air inlet side to an air outlet side. A plurality of fins are located between the tubes for heat exchange with the air.

  • Patent number: 6431263
Abstract: A heat exchanger with small-diameter refrigerant tubes is disclosed. The heat exchanger has a plurality of air guide fins assembled with each other by one or more vertical rows of refrigerant tubes passing through the air guide fins. In the heat exchanger, each of the refrigerant tubes is a small-diameter tube having an outer diameter of not larger than 6 mm. In addition, four rows of offset surfaces are vertically formed on each of the air guide fins at a position between two tubes of each vertical row of refrigerant tubes through a pressing process such that the four rows of offset surfaces are arranged along a transverse direction of the fin. Four rows of vertical slits are each formed by two air guide openings defined between opposite side edges of each of the offset surfaces and the land surface of the air guide fin.

  • Publication number: 20020011332
Abstract: A refrigerant tube for heat exchangers is disclosed. The refrigerant tube has an outer diameter of not larger than 5.3 mm, with a plurality of internal spiral fins formed on the inner surface of the refrigerant tube. The refrigerant tube has a thickness of 0.16 mm˜0.2 mm. The internal spiral fins are set in their number to 40˜50, and each have a height of 0.15 mm˜0.18 mm, a projection angle of 38°˜42°, and a spiral angle of 6°˜20°. Due to the internal spiral fins in addition to the reduced outer diameter of the refrigerant tube, the tube reduces the production cost of heat exchangers and accomplishes the recent trend of compactness of the heat exchangers. The tube also has several advantages expected from small-diameter refrigerant tubes, such as a reduction in air-side pressure loss, and improves heat transfer efficiency of the heat exchangers. This refrigerant tube thus enhances the heat exchange operational performance of the heat exchangers.
