Abstract: A system and method are provided for processing packet mobile-terminated calls from an Internet host to a mobile terminal in a radio packet service network. The system may include a DNS for processing a domain name conversion request from the Internet host, and a mobile-terminated server for retrieving information of a packet mobile-terminated subscriber by searching for dynamic subscriber information in a conversion DB. The mobile-terminated server may request initiation of packet mobile-terminated call connection and IP resolve, register assigned IP address and transmit the IP address to the DNS. A mobile-terminated GGSN may obtain address information of a SGSN to which the packet mobile-terminated subscriber belongs from a HLR and request initiation of the packet mobile-terminated call connection.
