Abstract: The present invention is related to a method for relaying contents in a contents reproducing device. In one embodiment, reproducibility of content is determined, and in case reproduction of the content is not possible, existence of the content reproducible in a second device is notified, where link information about a device to be connected to receive the content can be provided together. In another embodiment, reproducibility of content is determined; in case reproduction of the content is not possible, one or more second devices connected wired or wirelessly is notified of existence of the content reproducible in the corresponding second device; and if a request for reproducing the content is received from the one or more second devices, while providing information about a second device which has sent the reproduction request to a server providing the content, the server can be requested to provide the content to the second device.
