    Abstract: A method of manufacturing a cylindrical includes manufacturing an electrode assembly having a jelly roll structure by preparing a positive electrode plate, a negative electrode plate, and a separator, and by interposing the separator between the positive electrode plate and the negative electrode plate, and then spiral-winding the positive electrode plate, the negative electrode plate, and the separator; and drying the electrode assembly after manufacturing the electrode assembly. The drying of the electrode assembly may include a hot air circulating drying step. A drying apparatus is also provided.
