    Abstract: The invention pertains to the discovery that the presence of oocyte spindle associated factors in an enucleated oocyte improves oocyte quality and subsequently nuclear transfer. In particular, it was discovered that maintaining oocyte spindle factors in the oocyte after enucleation improves oocyte quality for use in nuclear transfer methodology.
