  • Publication number: 20240083685
Abstract: A conveying system has a lower end of a helical path of a conveying section of a first conveyor located at a lower level than a lower end of a helical path of a conveying section of a second conveyor. An upper end of the helical path of the conveying section of the second conveyor is located at a higher level than an upper end of the helical path of the conveying section of the first conveyor. The upper end of the helical path of the conveying section of the first conveyor is located between the lower end and the upper end of the helical path of the conveying section of the second conveyor. A transfer region is between the helical path lower end of the conveying section of the second conveyor and the helical path upper end of the conveying section of the first conveyor.

  • Patent number: 11718487
Abstract: A buffer conveyor comprises a drivable endless conveyor belt which successively follows a transport path from an input station to an output station and a return path. A frame includes two parallel transport path frame legs and a U-shaped transport path bridge. The transport path bridge includes a curved bridge portion and parallel bridge legs extending therefrom. Each transport path frame leg is provided with a transport path frame guide for a lateral contact side of the belt in outward direction as seen from the other frame leg. The transport path bridge is shaped such that along the curved bridge portion and respective twisted regions of the bridge legs adjacent to the curved bridge portion the belt has a transverse down-slope towards the inside of the U-shape and such that the lateral contact side (of the belt at said twisted regions is above the respective transport path frame guides.

  • Publication number: 20230159277
Abstract: A helical conveyor for conveying piece goods comprises a frame and an endless conveyor belt which is drivable with respect to the frame along a helical track which extends about a centerline. The conveyor belt comprises discrete supporting members each comprising a substantially rigid slat and a roller. The slats follow a first helical path including a first inclination angle along the first helical path with respect to a base plane extending perpendicularly to the centerline and a second helical path including a second inclination angle along the second helical path with respect to the base plane. Each of the rollers is mounted to the corresponding slat such that the difference of an angle between the rolling direction and the base plane and the second inclination angle is smaller than the difference between the first and second inclination angles.

Abstract: A cross-belt sorter (1) comprises a plurality of interconnected carriers (3) which are drivable behind each other in a conveying direction (X). Each of the carriers (3) is provided with a cross-belt (7) for supporting a product. The cross-belt (7) is drivable in a belt driving direction (Y) extending transversely to the conveying direction (X). A pushing element (25) is mounted to the cross-belt (7) for pushing against a product on the cross-belt (7) in the event that a product on the cross-belt (7) tends to move with respect to the cross-belt (7) in opposite direction of the belt driving direction (Y). The pushing element (25) has an upright orientation with respect to the cross-belt (7) and is supported in the belt driving direction (Y) by a supporting member (26) which is at least between opposite side edges of the cross-belt (7) fixed to the pushing element (25) and to the cross-belt (7) at respective distances from an intersection between the pushing element (25) and the crossbelt (7).

  • Patent number: 10543991
Abstract: A buffering device comprises a frame and a conveyor belt, a supply station, a discharge station, a first reversing member reverses the conveying direction of the conveyor belt, and a return guide includes a second reversing member. The buffering device is configured such that the conveyor belt moves from the supply station via the first reversing member to the discharge station, after which the conveyor belt is guided back to the supply station via the return guide. A portion of the conveyor belt n forms a buffer section of which the length varies. The remaining portion of the conveyor belt forms a compensation section for compensating a change of length of the buffer section during simultaneous displacement of the first and second reversing members with respect to the frame. The first reversing member includes a buffer carriage for radially guiding the conveyor belt, which guide is fixed to the carriage.
