  • Patent number: 5167466
Abstract: A clamping apparatus has a first clamping device, a second clamping device, and a coupling device engaged therebetween. The first clamping device has a cylindrical socket extending therefrom and the second clamping device has a threaded flange portion extending therefrom. The coupling device is ring-shaped and has a innerly threaded receiving hole formed in one side thereof and a through hole formed in another side thereof, the two holes communicating with each other. The cylindrical socket of the first clamping device is inserted into the through hole of the coupling device while the threaded flange portion of the second clamping device is inserted into the receiving hole of the coupling device, thereby engaging the first clamping device and the second clamping device together and maintaining a specific axial relationship therebetween. The axial relationship of the first clamping device and the second clamping device is adjustable to another bearing relation.

  • Patent number: 5076132
Abstract: A clamp mount for a musical drum, to which a clamp is fixable, is formed with an idented tab at each end which slides under and is securable behind a threaded receptacle of the type conventionally provided along the wall of a drum body for accepting a screw for fixing the drum rin to the drum body.

  • Patent number: 4977810
Abstract: A means for regulating cymbal pedal tautness includes an end block to which an end of a spring is attached. The spring extends downwardly and attaches at the other end to a coupling block. To one of the coupling block is attached a lower draw bar which extends downwardly to connect with the pedal by means of which the cymbals are operated. To the other end of the coupling block is attached an upper draw bar which extends up through the end block to connect with a top cymbal. A tap of the foot on the pedal subsequently causes the top cymbal to rapidly descend crashing on the bottom cymbal to produce the appropriate musical effect. The pedal and, consequently, the top cymbal are returned to their original positions by the restorative force in the spring. A tension in the spring is regulatable by means of a screw acceptor block provided on an inner surface with screw threadings within which set screws which protrude from the end block rest.

  • Patent number: 4976181
Abstract: A means for maintaining cymbol pedal tightness includes a fixed fitting to which both a cymbol pedal is attached and to either end of which a spring fitting is attached. The other end of each spring fitting is attached to an adjusting fitting. The adjusting fitting is fixably disposed directly above the pedal. A depression of the cymbol pedal pulls downwardly on the fixed fitting causing the springs in the spring fitting to extend. A subsequent release of the pedal releases the tension on the springs allowing the pedal to return to its original position. The tension in the springs is adjustable by means of gears disposed within the adjusting fitting.

  • Patent number: 4970933
Abstract: A a reinforced musical drum rim including a drum rim in which: a concavity is cut out of the underside of said drum rim; in said concavity is established a honeycomb-like reinforcement structure comprising a chain of hexagonally shaped reinforcements; a plurality of equally spaced screw hole units through which respective clamping screws are passable are disposed within the reinforcement structure so that deformation occuring in the drum rim due to the tightening of the clamping screws is prevented.

  • Patent number: 4928565
Abstract: A musical drum with a drum face, a wooden drum body and a buffer element. The buffer element is situated between the drum face and the drum body. The drum face includes a drumhead and a rim for clamping the drumhead across the buffer element by way of clamping screws. The pressure exerted by the drum head on the buffer element is absorbable by the buffer element.

  • Patent number: 4799610
Abstract: A carrying holder of a musical instrument comprising a "T" bar, a pair of shoulder bars, a belly plate and fastening means. The pair of shoulder bars are fastened to a lateral plate of the "T" bar by bolts. Note that the fastening portions of the lateral plate are formed by two longitudinally aligned seats installed on two sides of the lateral plate. Each of the grooves has an appropriate number of semi-circular holes set separately so that bolts can be bolted through the semi-circular holes. On the corresponding positions of the shoulder bars, a hole and an arc-like slots are installed which make the shoulder bar is angularly adjustable about a bolt.

  • Patent number: 4744690
Abstract: A stabilizer including a female ring installed on a female tube of the telescopic stand and a male ring installed on a male tube of a telescopic stand. The male ring is put in the female ring and a hole is set on each of two outwardly projecting parallel walls. Inside one of the holes of the female ring is a toothed block which is engageable with another toothed block of a handle so that the tightness and relaxation of the stabilizer is determined by rotating the handle to engage or disengage the two toothed blocks. The male ring further has an opening between the two holes of the male ring in which a spring is set to provide the male ring with a better restoring force.
