    Abstract: A platform for testing the excavation resistance of a small-sized backhoe excavator is provided. The testing platform comprises a bucket, a mechanical arm device, a measuring device, a workbench frame, and a control device. The bucket is hinged to the mechanical arm device, which is fixed on the workbench frame; the control device is electrically connected to the measuring device, data acquired by the measuring device is used to construct a force balance equation, and through force analysis, excavation resistance is obtained.
