Abstract: This application provides an electrode plate slitting method and apparatus, an electronic device, and a storage medium. The method includes: obtaining a length of an electrode plate to be cut; and when it is determined that a slitting parameter meeting a preset condition exists based on the length of the electrode plate, cutting the electrode plate to be cut based on the slitting parameter to obtain the electrode plate after cutting. The preset condition includes: the slitting parameter is able to be used for cutting the electrode plate to be cut and a length of each electrode plate roll obtained after cutting is within a preset range. This decreases the probability of obtaining an electrode plate roll with an inappropriate length at the end of the cutting, reducing the waste in the electrode plate.

The method includes acquiring breakage detection information; and determining, according to the breakage detection information, whether a breakage occurs in a battery plate, where the breakage detection information includes speed information of a plate press roller.
