    Abstract: A method, a system, and a device of video communication are provided. A sub-picture in a synthetic picture corresponding to each audio stream received is marked. Position information of each audio stream is obtained according to a position of each sub-picture in the synthetic picture. The audio stream and the corresponding position information are sent to a terminal. The terminal processes an audio signal according to the received position information of the audio stream, so that the audio stream carries the position information. During the video communication, the terminal receives the audio stream and the position information, and performs position information sense processing to the audio stream according to the position information. This reduces the frequent communication between the terminal and a device for processing position information and improves the flexibility of the system.

    Abstract: The present invention discloses a method for performing a frame erasure concealment to a higher-band signal, including: calculating a periodic intensity of a higher-band signal with respect to a lower-band signal; judging whether the periodic intensity of the higher-band signal is higher than or equal to a preconfigured threshold; if the periodic intensity of the higher-band signal is higher than or equal to the preconfigured threshold, using a pitch period repetition method to perform the frame erasure concealment to the higher-band signal of a current lost frame; and if the periodic intensity of the higher-band signal is lower than the preconfigured threshold, using a previous frame data repetition method to perform the frame erasure concealment to the higher-band signal of the current lost frame. The present invention further discloses a device for performing a frame erasure concealment to a higher-band signal and a speech decoder. The problem that the quality of the voice signal is lowered is avoided.

    Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention provide a multiple description audio coding and decoding method, apparatus, and system. The audio coding method includes: dividing residual signals indicating current audio signal information into multiple frequency band parts having different frequencies; respectively coding the multiple frequency band parts by using multiple description coding (MDC) methods with different speech quality; and combining each of description signal parts that are generated after coding is performed by using different MDC methods to form multiple description bit streams of the residual signals. According to the present invention, multiple description coding and decoding methods with different speech quality are used for different frequency bands, which reduces the bit rate of multiple description coding and decoding, improves the effect of multiple description coding and decoding, and hence enhances the quality of audio transmission.
