  • Patent number: 6314893
Abstract: A table frame for supporting cutting machine includes a foldable support frame and a tabletop frame having a connecting end portion pivotally connected with a top side of the foldable support frame. The foldable support frame includes two opposing pairs of leg frames each of which comprises a pair of first and second crossed legs pivotally connected together where the first and second crossed legs cross, and a stopper means for supporting between the first and second crossed legs of each of the two leg frames and limiting the inclination of each of the first and second crossed legs. Thereby, by pivotally rotating the connecting end portion, the tabletop frame can be lifted up to horizontally rest across the supporting bar or be dropped down to vertically overlap with the folded support frame. Accordingly, the table frame can be easily folded for storage and carriage and unfolded for supporting the cutting machine or other similar machines.

  • Patent number: 6294852
Abstract: A motor cover arrangement for covering a cooling fan of a motor enclosed in a motor case, wherein the motor cover arrangement includes a cooling fan cover and an air intake hood. The cooling fan cover is partially constructed by a bowl shape cover body and an arc shape guiding frame having a guiding lip integrally extended therefrom for regulating air sucking from an air intake window and discharging from an air discharge slot. Therefore, the discharging air and the intaking air are respectively partitioned by the guiding lip to prevent the discharging air from returning back into the motor, so as to enhance the circulated motion of the air cycle in the motor cover arrangement and increase both the air sucking effect and cooling effect of the motor.

  • Patent number: 6283110
Abstract: A cutting saw machine has a motor arranged to be installed in a table frame which is used for supporting the cutting table and the coolant tray instead of mounted on the cutting head, so that the cutting head thereof can be made of light material to reduce the overall weight of the machine. Moreover, the motor is positioned below the coolant tray that can prevent direct contact with the user, and that the coolant tray also provides a cool surrounding to the motor that can help the motor to reduce its heat when it is functioning.

  • Patent number: 6239521
Abstract: A motor cover arrangement for covering a cooling fan of a motor enclosed in a motor case, wherein the motor cover arrangement includes a cooling fan cover and an air intake hood. The cooling fan cover has an open outlet end mounted on the motor case and an inlet end extended from the motor case to define a fan cavity to dispose the cooling fan therein and an air inlet opening in front of the cooling fan. The outlet end of the cooling fan cover defines an air discharge slot between the outlet end and the motor case to communicate with the air inlet opening. The air intake hood includes a base shell integrally covering the air inlet opening of the cooling fan cover and an air intake shell extended from the base shell to a side portion of the cooling fan cover to provide an air intake window so as to form an air intake passage between the air intake window positioned at the side portion of the cooling fan cover and the air inlet opening of the cooling fan cover.

  • Patent number: 6000387
Abstract: A ceramic and masonry power saw is constructed with a fluid cooling bearing assembly to drive a saw blade. The fluid cooling bearing assembly includes a bearing housing which has a coolant chamber embracing around the shaft sleeve. The coolant chamber has a C-shaped cross section and is extended along the shaft sleeve. The bearing housing also provides a coolant inlet and a coolant outlet for sealedly connecting the coolant chamber with the coolant conduit arrangement. Therefore, the coolant would not only be pumped to cool the saw blade and the work piece to be cut, but also be pumped to flow inside the bearing housing for cooling the rotating blade shaft in order to prevent overheating of the blade shaft.

  • Patent number: 5676124
Abstract: A ceramic tile and masonry power saw is disclosed. The saw has an electric motor and drives the circular diamond saw through a drive belt positioned immediately adjacent to the saw to minimize bending moments and stress. A pivoting cutting table has pinch rollers on one side that clamp to the frame of the saw. When the cutting table is pivoted away, there is enough clearance for side removal of the tray used to catch coolant and sawdust, located underneath the cutting table. A bearing housing that supports the spinning shaft on which the saw blade is mounted has a tapered shape that fits into a tapered opening in the cutting head assembly, which assembly overlies the cutting table and positions the saw blade just above the table.
