  • Publication number: 20230315523
Abstract: Various methods, apparatuses/systems, and media for implementing an automation stack to manage a seeding process are disclosed. A processor generates a table that includes parameters to be utilized for an automation process to automate a seeding process. The automation process is triggered in response to running a batch process, i.e., a mainframe batch process and identifies one specific job that has been injected into the batch process during running the mainframe batch process; develops an execution command that makes a call to a predefined algorithm written in a predefined programming language installed on an operating system; passes commands by the predefined algorithm to a CSM via a CSM API; transmits a query data via a predefined formatted data to the predefined algorithm which sends the predefined formatted data back to the execution command as reformatted text; and automatically detects which site the seeding process will execute from.

  • Patent number: 11772283
Abstract: A method for operating a robotic joint of a robotic system comprising selectively operating a clutch mechanism of a clutched joint module in an engaged state to cause a quasi-passive elastic actuator to enter an elastic state, the clutched joint module operating about and defining a joint of the robotic system. The method comprising effecting a first rotation of the joint to cause the quasi-passive elastic actuator to store energy during at least a portion of the rotation of the joint. The method comprising effecting a second rotation of the joint and causing the stored energy from the quasi-passive elastic actuator to be released in the form of an augmented torque applied to an output member of the clutched joint module. The method comprising selectively operating the clutch mechanism in a disengaged state to cause the quasi-passive elastic actuator to enter an inelastic state.

  • Publication number: 20230305663
Abstract: A touch sensor device (TSD) includes TSD electrodes associated with a surface of the TSD. Also, an overlay that includes marker electrode(s) is also associated with a region of the surface of the TSD. The TSD also includes drive-sense circuits (DSCs) operably coupled to the plurality of TSD electrodes. A DSC is configured to provide a TSD electrode signal to a TSD electrode and simultaneously to sense a change of the TSD electrode signal based on a change of impedance of the TSD electrode caused by capacitive coupling between the TSD electrode and the marker electrode(s) of the overlay. Processing module(s) is configured to process a digital signal generated by the DSC and other digital signals generated by other DSCs determine the region of the surface of the TSD that is associated with the overlay and to adapt sensitivity of the TSD within that region.

  • Publication number: 20230305301
Abstract: Head-mountable devices can include connection mechanisms that provide adjustable and exchangeable connections with other devices to enhance performance of the head-mountable device. Such connections can provide both mechanical engagement and operable communication between the connected devices. Accessory devices and/or external devices can be easily connected to provide different components and functions at different times as desired. Accordingly, a main portion of the head-mountable device need not include permanent components that provide every function that will later be desired by the user. Instead, the head-mountable device can have expanded and customizable capabilities by the use of one or more accessory devices.

  • Publication number: 20230297227
Abstract: A user may provide finger press input to a surface such as a touch sensitive input surface. The input surface may be formed from a two-dimensional touch sensor overlapping a display of an electronic device. The electronic device and an associated device such as a finger-mounted device may form a system for gathering the finger press input from the user. A sensor may be used in monitoring when the finger-mounted device and a user's finger in the device approach the input surface of the electronic device. In response to detection of the finger near the input surface, actuators in the finger-mounted device may squeeze the finger inwardly to cause a finger pad on the finger to protrude outwardly towards the input surface, thereby softening impact between the finger and the input surface. The electronic device may also have an array of components to repel the finger-mounted device.

  • Patent number: 11762958
Abstract: Examples described herein provide for determining a recipe for identifying from which buckets integrated circuit chips are taken to form units of a multi-chip apparatus. In an example, a method uses a processor-based system and uses a Markov Decision Process. Buckets are defined based on respective characteristics of manufactured chips. Each of the manufactured chips is binned into a respective one of the buckets based on the characteristic of the respective manufactured chip. A recipe for identifying from which of the buckets to take one or more of the manufactured chips to incorporate into respective ones of the units of the multi-chip apparatus is generated.
