It also relates to a paint or coating including at least one binder and one solvent, wherein the solvent is of renewable vegetable origin. Formulations are given.

Abstract: A synthetic aggregate with photocatalytic properties for road use, includes a collection of particles each including a matrix formed by a binder containing at least photocatalytic particles and a particulate mineral material. The method of producing the synthetic aggregate and its use in a pollution-reducing road surface course having excellent tyre grip are also described.
