    Abstract: A method for enabling dynamic resource ownership transfer among network slice tenants includes acquiring an initial share of resources, admitting a plurality of tenants to a private blockchain platform, initiating a resource transaction process within a consortium of peer nodes, and validating proposed transactions in a distributed and automatized way. An infrastructure provider (InP) provides a mobile network that is virtually divided into a set of slices, and an intermediate broker (IB) regulates transactions, executed via a blockchain, by which resources are distributed between tenants. A smart contract (SC) running within the blockchain implements resource auditing among tenants and enforces IB-specific policies in managing transfers of the resources between the tenants. A consensus algorithm validates the transactions, and the infrastructure provider (InP) processes validated transactions and enforces transaction directives in the resource allocation process.

The network slice request includes a service level agreement (SLA) and an associated payoff. It is determined whether to accept the network slice based on whether it is expected that a utility function will be better served by accepting the network slice request or waiting for a further network slice request. It is determined whether the SLA would be fulfilled prior to allocating the network slice. The network slice is allocated and installed in the network infrastructure. Whether the utility function is better served can be determined using a value iteration algorithm or an adaptive algorithm.

    Abstract: A method for anomaly detection and troubleshooting in a network includes parsing a network service descriptor (NSD) describing a network service (NS) to be deployed in the network. Monitoring data including time series of service-level metrics and resource-level metrics of network functions (NFs) of the NS are received from different domains of the network. Representations of the time series from the different domains are learned with a common dimensionality. An NS signature of the NS is computed as a cross-correlation matrix comprising cross-correlations between the service-level metrics and the resource-level metrics of the NFs. Embeddings of the NS signature are learned using a model and determining a reconstruction error of the model. It is determined whether the NS is anomalous based on the reconstruction error of the model. The NS is identified as a target for the troubleshooting in a case that the NS was determined to be anomalous.
