  • Publication number: 20170081050
Abstract: A dual guidance gyroscopic actuator comprises, a main structure connected to a platform, connected to a satellite, a ring, a U-shaped cradle, having first and second ends and a central part, a flywheel mounted on the central part between the first and second ends, being rotationally mobile with respect to the cradle about a first axis. A first bearing is positioned at the first end and a second bearing is positioned at the second end connecting the ring to the cradle, the first and second bearings rendering the cradle rotationally mobile with respect to the ring about a second axis substantially perpendicular to the first axis. The ring is connected to the main structure. The gyroscopic actuator comprises at least one suspension element limiting microvibrations from the cradle and flywheel and at least one end-stop element limiting travel cradle and of the flywheel with respect to the main structure.

  • Patent number: 8734043
Abstract: Through pivot (1) has a stator (2) and a rotor (3). The rotor is capable of turning relative to the stator about an axis of rotation (A) and is capable of accepting a through shaft aligned with the axis of rotation. The rotor is connected to the stator by a plurality of webs (4) capable of being deformed to allow the rotor to rotate, and in that in a condition of rest the webs form an angle of inclination relative to a radial direction passing through the axis of rotation.

  • Patent number: 7988098
Abstract: Actuator for a device for the rotary positioning of a movable element for space equipment comprising a part attached to the fixed portion of said equipment, a bearing, a sleeve designed to actuate the movable portion of said equipment and mounted on an output shaft supported by a first race of said bearing, said actuator comprising a mechanically movable input means and being capable of converting a movement of the input means into a rotary movement of the output shaft about the axis of said bearing, characterized in that said second race of said bearing is connected in rotation to the part of said equipment, in that an adjustable stop so as to angularly limit the relative rotation of the two races of the bearing, and in that the rate of rotation of the output shaft in response to a movement of the input means is different depending on whether or not the sleeve is resting on the adjustable stop.
