  • Patent number: 11249373
Abstract: The fitting room comprises a portrait photographic system which comprises: —a mirror; —a support physically attached to the mirror, or to a structural member fixed thereto, the support being configured and arranged to interchangeably and removably attach thereto any of a plurality of portable computing devices having built-in cameras; and—a local computing entity adapted to establish a communication link with the portable computing device attached or to be attached to the support, in order to acquire one or more images of a user placed in front of the mirror with the built-in camera of the portable computing device once attached to the support. The computer program comprises computer subprograms adapted to operate the system of the fitting room of the invention.

  • Publication number: 20160328961
Abstract: A vehicle detection system (1) comprising at least one detection unit (2). Each detection unit corresponds to a detection volume (Sn) and each detection unit comprises at least two spaced-apart magnetic field sensors including first and second magnetic field sensors (6a, 6b; FIG. 3). Each magnetic field sensor is configured to provide a series of instantaneous magnetic field measurements spaced apart in time. A processing unit (3) is configured to receive the time series of instantaneous magnetic field measurements. The processing unit is configured to store the time series of instantaneous magnetic field measurements in a table (8; FIG. 5). The processing unit is configured to determine the presence of a vehicle (7) in each detection volume in dependence upon the magnetic field measurements in the table.

  • Publication number: 20140169084
Abstract: A memory device is described. The memory device comprises an antiferromagnet. The device may comprise an insulator and an electrode arranged in a tunnel junction configuration. Alternatively, the device may comprise first and second contacts to the antiferromagnet for measuring ohmic resistance of the antiferromagnet. The antiferromagnet is not coupled to any ferromagnet. The state of the antiferromagnet can be set by heating the junction to a temperature at or above a critical temperature at which is possible to re-orientate magnetic moments in the antiferromagnet, applying an external magnetic field and then cooling the antiferromagnet to a temperature below the critical temperature.

  • Publication number: 20140002067
Abstract: A metal detection device is described which enables, by means of a module for determining the variation in the magnetic field, the determination, in accordance with the variations in the magnetic field, of the nearby presence of metallic materials based on the interference produced by said presence in the magnetic field that surrounds the device described herein.

  • Publication number: 20100214129
Abstract: A device is for lighting and/or demarcation of pedestrian crossings. Normally pedestrian crossings are in many cases difficult to identify by users, because they are insufficiently lit or demarcated. Posts or columns are provided with lighting means formed by lighting advertising lamps which light and/or demarcate pedestrian crossings perfectly. The correct lighting of pedestrian crossings is achieved by lighting lamps placed mainly in the lower part of the posts or columns, with the effect that the light beams thereof spread out and light the surface of the pedestrian crossing. The demarcation of pedestrian crossings is achieved by positioning posts or advertising columns in at least one corner at each end of the pedestrian crossing.
