  • Patent number: 8025041
Abstract: The present invention relates to a method removing the fuel contained in the lubricating oil of an internal-combustion engine comprising an engine block with an air intake circuit for a fuel mixture, a burnt gas exhaust circuit, an oil sump and means for pumping the oil contained in the sump. According to the invention, the method consists in removing, after pumping the oil, the fuel diluted in the oil by heating intermittently the oil for a time ranging from 1/100 second to 10 second, in order to obtain vaporization of the fuel diluted in the oil.

  • Patent number: 8024170
Abstract: Configuring reconfigurable interconnect resources employing a switch matrix and configuration bit look-up table are disclosed. Reconfigurable interconnect resources include multiplexors to decrease the number of bits needed to load a configuration. Distributed processing resources configure a selected reconfigurable interconnect resource, interconnecting each input of the reconfigurable interconnect resource with a particular output of the reconfigurable interconnect resource using configuration bits scalably extracted from a row of configuration bits of a look-up table. Use of a configuration bit look-up table allows for compression of the bits needed to load the configuration for a reconfigurable interconnect resource.

  • Patent number: 7937206
Abstract: The present invention relates to a method for controlling autoignition of a fuel mixture, notably for a diesel type internal-combustion engine, according to which a fuel mixture is made in at least one combustion chamber (14) of the engine with a fuel and at least one fluid in order to obtain a homogeneous type combustion by autoignition. The method includes defining a desired combustion progress by autoignition of the fuel mixture, and adjusting the cetane number of the fuel used for the mixture to that of the fuel providing the desired combustion progress is obtained.

  • Patent number: 7867296
Abstract: A diesel fuel formulation containing a high proportion of ethanol has a corrected flash point. This flash point modification is achieved by feeding into the mixture a liquid of low flash point such as a light fraction consisting of a C5 to C7 paraffin cut. The resultant formulation invention can be directly used in a vehicle.

  • Patent number: 7587649
Abstract: Methods and systems for verifying the proper function of reconfigurable logic elements and reconfigurable interconnects are disclosed. Reconfigurable logic elements in an emulation integrated circuit are arranged such that one set of reconfigurable logic elements is used to test a second set of reconfigurable logic elements. After completion of the test of the second set of reconfigurable logic elements, the roles of the first and seconds sets are reversed and the second set of reconfigurable logic elements is used to test the first set. Reconfigurable interconnects are tested by appropriately pairing the interconnect devices in a mirrored manner during a test.

  • Patent number: 7305633
Abstract: Data processing resources are distributively provided to an emulation system to locally and correspondingly configure emulation integrated circuits. In certain embodiments the data processing resources also perform emulation functions. In one embodiment, the distributed data processing resources are disposed on logic boards having emulation ICs that include the reconfigurable logic resources. In another embodiment, data processing resources receive commands transmitted from a workstation executing electronic design automation (EDA) software. In other embodiments, at least some of the distributed data processing resources are disposed on the emulation ICs. The board and IC disposed distributed data processing resources cooperatively perform the configuration and emulation functions as described.
